What Dark Shop is and what the saving looks like

Dark Shop, which also writes its name as MyDarkShop, is an online store for BDSM toys and bondage gear aimed at buyers across India. Its menu runs through kits, handcuffs, collars, masks and blindfolds, harnesses, nipple clamps, mouth gags, whips, sex games, tail plugs, chastity cages, lingerie, roleplay costumes and nightwear. The About page says the idea came from a conversation among friends who could not find proper gear for their own use, and that the shop sources from brands worldwide; the FAQ adds manufacturers in India and abroad, with materials such as silicone, leather, faux leather, stainless steel and ABS plastic.

The shop sells one-off purchases, so there is no trial, no membership and no rebill. The saving is a higher price shown beside a lower price on individual products, plus a dedicated Sale page. The pages print no coupon code, no percentage and no sale end date, and in October 2026 the FAQ said the BDSM range starts at ₹399.

The price ladder and the Sale page

There is no plan ladder; the ladder is the catalog itself, from small items up to full kits. Each tile on the home page shows a higher price and a lower price in rupees, and the lower one is the price to pay. The pages never label the higher figure as an MRP or a former price, so it reads as a list price that the shop marks down.

In October 2026 the Sale page listed a romantic eye mask at Rs. 1345 reduced to Rs. 999 and a wrist-to-thumb restraint at Rs. 1277 reduced to Rs. 799. On the home page, a 12-piece couple kit showed Rs. 7099 against Rs. 6099. The gaps differ a great deal from one product to the next, which is why comparing tile by tile matters more than looking for a standard discount. The home page's top-seller, "New Arrivals" and "Trending Products" rows carry the same two-price format on ankle cuffs, eye masks, nipple clamps, chastity cages, restraint systems and smaller kits, so the markdown is store-wide in practice even though the Sale page itself held only two items when read.

How long any reduction lasts is never stated, and no loyalty scheme, first-order offer or newsletter coupon is described. The account sign-up page asks for a name, mobile number, email, password and billing information, but it states no sign-up discount.

After the first order: what is and is not described

Nothing renews. The pages describe no trial, no add-on that is pre-selected at checkout and no subscription, so there is no later charge to watch for. The home page promises "100% Discreet Delivery", and the About page goes a step further on the money side: it says the shop name "does not appear anywhere on the package or on the bill/invoice". That sentence is the closest the pages come to a billing descriptor, and it is a statement about the invoice rather than about what a card statement will read.

The refund policy adds a caveat that affects how much a sale price is worth. It says the products listed as "in stock" are not all held in the shop's own warehouses, so an item shown as available may be sold out by the time an order is placed. The pages do not say what happens to a prepaid order in that case.

Delivery takes 3-7 business days according to the FAQ, with the note that holidays and unexpected events can delay it. The FAQ says delivery covers all of India. Replacement of a faulty item can take "up to fourteen days to twenty days" from the request, per the refund policy. The pages state no shipping fee, and the refund policy says there is no refund of delivery charges on toys that are returned.

Payment and billing

The FAQ says cash on delivery is available to most places in India, so a buyer pays only on receiving the parcel. The checkout steps it describes are: pick the item, add to cart, fill in delivery details, choose a way to pay and confirm. The footer carries a Payment Method heading, but the text does not list card networks, UPI or wallets. No processor is named, and the pages give no billing descriptor beyond the invoice statement above.

The terms and conditions page covers cookies, copyright and liability, and says content can change without notice; it has no clause on payment, price changes or tax. The home page lists "Safe Payment" among its promises and says it guarantees secure financial transactions, and the sign-up page collects a billing address (area, city, state and postal code) for an account.

Getting out: cancellation, returns and refunds

The refund and return policy opens with a firm line: returns and refunds are not entertained for items "not as up to your expectations". The FAQ repeats that opened packaging means no return or exchange, though a broken or faulty item will be replaced. To qualify, the buyer has to film the product from the moment of opening the package to the end, and without the video there is no responsibility for a refund or return. The policy recommends testing the battery on arrival and says a used item will not get a warranty replacement. Electronic media, batteries and liquid items such as lubes and oils cannot be returned, though liquid items spilled or damaged in shipping qualify for replacement, and the policy limits that to 3 days after the shipment is made.

On cancellation, the wording is loose. The policy says cancellation requests are handled at around 24 hours after the request, and that "demand for cancellation will not be entertained after the shipment has effectively started". Requests go through the contact form or email on the contact page, and the policy asks buyers to put questions to a customer representative before confirming an order. The support hours are given three ways: the contact page says Monday to Saturday, 10:00 A.M to 11:00 P.M., the home page says 10 am to 7 pm except public holidays by phone or WhatsApp, and the same page elsewhere calls its helplines available 24/7.

What the money buys and who the offer suits

The money buys BDSM accessories, restraints, kits, sex games and lingerie, from a store that also publishes long guidance pages on consent, safewords and aftercare. The FAQ says that beginners can start with handcuffs, blindfolds, feather ticklers or a soft flogger, and that kits exist for couples. The shop gives a customer support phone number and an email address on its contact page.

The offer suits a buyer who wants a plain one-time purchase with cash on delivery, who values an invoice that does not carry the shop name, and who is happy to compare the higher and lower price on each tile. It suits less well a buyer who might want to return a toy after opening it, since the policy refuses returns on opened goods and demands unboxing video, or anyone who wants a published list of payment methods or a fixed discount rule.
