What Wicked Wanda's is and what the saving looks like
Wicked Wanda's is a sex shop on Bank Street in Ottawa with an online store that sells across Canada. The home page says it has been "helping Canadians explore pleasure with confidence" for over 30 years and calls itself "More Than a Sex Shop", and the storefront runs under the name WW INC on Shopify. It sells vibrators, dildos, lubes, male and anal toys, bondage and kink gear, wellness products and a Gender menu of breast forms, gaffs and packers, and it runs workshops. Every purchase is a one-off order, so there is no trial, no rebill and no renewal.
The savings the pages state are of three kinds. A newsletter sign-up promises a code for a percentage off a first purchase, a Sale collection shows items with a regular price beside a lower sale price and a "Save" amount, and a free shipping threshold applies to online orders.
The first-purchase code
The standing offer is the newsletter code. In October 2026 the sign-up box on the home page and the sale page read "Get 10% off your first purchase. Sign up today and we'll send you a 10% discount code towards your first purchase. Some restrictions apply." The footer repeats it as "Sign-up to our newsletter and save 10% on your first order!" No code is printed; the store says it sends one after sign-up. The restrictions the line mentions are not spelled out, so whether the code covers sale items, when it expires and whether it stacks with free shipping all remain to be seen in the email that delivers it.
The cart panel notes that "Shipping, taxes, and discount codes calculated at checkout", which is where the code is entered and where the reduction shows.
The sale collection
The Sale collection is the shop's markdown shelf. Its page calls the selection "Limited-Time Discounts" and "a constantly refreshed selection", says it changes regularly as promotions expire and new ones arrive, and prints no end date for any item. In October 2026 the collection showed "2 products". JO Lubricants Premium Silicone Lubricant was listed from $15.00, below its regular price, and Coco by Puissante was listed at a sale price of $150.00 against a regular price of $199.99, with the page's own "Save $49.99" label.
The page says why items reach the sale shelf: seasonal promotions, manufacturer specials, packaging updates, color or design refreshes, discontinued models replaced by newer versions, bundle deals and special purchases the store has negotiated, and it says the store is open about the reason for each discount. It describes promotional packages "at special bundle pricing" but names no bundle and no bundle price. It warns that many sale items come in limited quantities, says clearance items "typically feature the deepest discounts", and notes that the in-store sale section carries limited-quantity specials too.
The page also sets out what kinds of stock turn up reduced. Vibrators on clearance range from bullets to wands and rabbits; BDSM gear on sale covers restraints, impact toys and sensory items; clearance lingerie takes in bodystockings, role-play costumes, seasonal styles and discontinued colors; lubricants and wellness enhancers appear through bundle pricing, volume discounts or manufacturer offers; and high-end luxury toys occasionally drop into closeout when a model is updated, a colorway changes or the packaging is refreshed. Those are the store's descriptions of how its promotions work, not a list of what was reduced in October 2026.
For current availability the page points shoppers to an in-store visit or a phone call, and says some customers check the sale section weekly. The online shelf is therefore only part of the sale stock the shop runs.
Shipping and delivery
In October 2026 the top banner on every page reads "Free shipping over $150 and local delivery available". The fee for an order below that line, the delivery time and the carrier are not given on these pages; the footer links a separate Shipping Policy. Local delivery is offered around the Ottawa shop, with no radius or price stated. The home page meta description promises "discreet shipping nationwide".
Returns, rain checks and warranties on discounted items
The sale page answers more about returns on reduced items than most shops do. Its rules list says "Standard return policies apply to most sex toys at reduced prices, with specific exceptions clearly noted at purchase", and its FAQ adds that deeply discounted clearance items or special circumstances can be exceptions, communicated at the time of purchase. The general return window and refund method sit on the Returns & Refunds page linked in the footer.
Two more points come from the same FAQ. Rain checks are not offered on sold-out sale merchandise "due to the limited and often time-sensitive nature" of promotions; staff will instead suggest similar items or mention upcoming promotions, and can sometimes estimate when a recurring promotion will return. And discounted products "retain their full manufacturer warranties unless specifically noted otherwise", with staff giving the details for a given purchase. A sale price, on the store's own account, does not by itself remove the return policy or the warranty.
Billing and payment
No payment processor or billing descriptor is named, so the statement wording is not stated. The footer shows a "We accept" heading without listing methods in text. Taxes are added at checkout, and the storefront offers Canadian and US dollar pricing and English and French.
Getting out and getting help
Since every purchase is a one-time order, there is no subscription to cancel. The footer gives the shop's phone number, an email link and the Bank Street address, and the menu has a Book a Consultation entry and a "Get Help & Advice" link for first-time shoppers. The footer also links Terms of Service, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds pages. No cancellation window for an unshipped order is printed, so a change of mind goes to the shop by phone or email.
What the money buys and who the offer suits
The catalog covers vibrators (clitoral, suction, G-spot, dual stimulation, remote and wand), dildos (silicone, realistic, glass and metal, double-ended, fantasy and creature styles), sex machines, strap-on harnesses and kits, male toys from masturbators to pumps, anal toys, a wide BDSM and kink menu, lubes and massage products, pelvic floor and dilator wellness items, erotica, and breast forms, gaffs and packers. Workshops and webinars cover topics such as tantra, BDSM and a sex toys introduction, alongside a studio space. The home page describes the shop as a judgment-free space where "education comes first", and customer quotes on the page praise the staff and the welcome in the store.
The offer suits someone in or near Ottawa who can use the shop in person and ask about in-store specials, and an online buyer who wants a percentage off a first order and is content to learn the code's limits from the sign-up email. It is a weaker fit for a reader who wants a long list of reduced items online, because the sale collection showed 2 products in October 2026, or for someone who needs a billing descriptor, return window or delivery time before paying. The saving is a feature of the shop rather than its main pitch, which centers on advice and education.
