What Thorn and Feather is and how it saves money

Thorn and Feather is a Canadian online store for adult sex toys, lingerie and bedroom accessories, based in Kitchener, Ontario. The storefront calls itself a "Proudly 100% Canadian Business", says it opened in 2020, and shows a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 in its header. It is operated by Albatross Ecommerce Trading Inc., which the footer describes as a federally incorporated Canadian retailer. Nothing here is a subscription: the store sells products per order, with prices shown in Canadian dollars or, through a region selector, in US dollars.

The saving comes from three places the storefront states itself. Products carry a "Regular price Was" figure beside a lower current price, a Clearance collection sits in the main menu, and every order earns points that can be spent on a later purchase. Free shipping inside Canada starts at a stated order total, and the header invites shoppers to "Sign Up & Earn Store Credit".

The price structure and the markdowns

The store works like a retail shelf rather than a plan ladder. The menu groups products into vibrators, masturbators, dildos, lubes and lotions, anal toys, strap-ons, bondage, lingerie, sex furniture and machines, and a "More Sex Toys" bucket, plus a Brands page and a Top Selections menu that includes New Arrivals, Clearance and a "Fan Favorites in Last 90 Days" list. The home page says the catalog holds over 4,000 products and that inventory is updated continuously, which is the shop's own claim.

Reduced items show their old price under the label "Regular price Was", and clearance items add "Clearance" to the product name and print "Sale price" before the current figure. No markdown carries an end date, and none is described as a time-limited event. The home page prints no sitewide coupon code. A footnote, "Discount code excludes We-Vibe, Womanizer and Arcwave", shows that discount codes exist in some form, but no code or percentage appears beside it.

In October 2026 the home page priced the Honey Play Box Rora 2 rotating stimulator, tagged Clearance, at $62.93 against a regular price of $99.90, both in Canadian dollars. A second Honey Play Box clearance item, the RYDER app-controlled thrusting vibrator, and two non-clearance Honey Play Box toys carried the same "Was" format. At the top of the range, the Hismith Premium 3.0 sex machine in the New Sex Toys row was shown at $639.73 with $913.90 as the regular price, and Crystal Jellies plugs and an anal dildo in the same row also sat below their "Was" prices. New arrivals are reduced alongside clearance stock, so the markdown is not confined to old lines.

Points, store credit and shipping

The loyalty rule is stated plainly. As of October 2026 the home page says "every order earns 5% back in points, which can be used toward future purchases". The footer links a Thorn & Feather Rewards page for the details. The header's "Sign Up & Earn Store Credit" line gives no amount, and the footer also links a Promotions page and a Student Discounts page whose terms are not printed on the home page. Whether points expire or what a point is worth in dollars is not given on the home page.

Shipping is the other standing saving. In October 2026 the header and the footer both state free shipping in Canada on orders over $69. The FAQ adds that orders are packed daily and that most customers in Canada receive a package in about 2 to 7 business days depending on location. P.O. Boxes are accepted when Canada Post is operating normally; during a strike the store switches to private couriers and may ask for an alternate address. The home page also says it offers "multiple shipping options across Canada". The visible text prints no fee for an order below the threshold, so that cost appears at checkout.

After the purchase: refunds and replacements

Because this is a retail shop, there is no trial, no rebill and no renewal. What matters after checkout is what happens when something goes wrong. If an order is lost or does not arrive, the store says it provides "reshipment or refunds to make things right". If an order arrives damaged or not working, the FAQ tells the customer to get in touch and says the store replaces "defective or damaged products quickly and without any awkward questions". The footer links a Warranty Support page and a Refund Policy, and the FAQ points to a full FAQ page covering warranties. The return window for an unwanted item and the rule on opened toys are set out in that Refund Policy, not on the home page.

Billing and payment

The home page has a short section titled Discreet Billing: "Your credit card statement will show TandF for your privacy and anonymity." That descriptor matters, because the statement line will not match the store's full name. A second section, Secure Online Payments, says the store uses SSL technology and that "the credit card is read directly by the bank".

The footer carries a "Payment methods" label without listing the methods in text. A region selector offers Canada with Canadian dollars and the United States with US dollars, and a language selector offers English and French. The figures above are the Canadian-dollar prices. Whether taxes are included in the listed price is not stated.

Getting out of an order and contacting the store

There is no membership to cancel. For an order, the home page gives live chat and a store email address, with the note that "All messages are handled confidentially", plus a Kitchener street address and a phone number in the footer block. No cancellation window is given for an order that has not shipped, so a change of mind goes through chat or email.

Shipping is described as discreet. The FAQ says everything ships in plain, unmarked boxes with no logos or brand names, and the Discreet Shipping Packaging note says "The only identifying marks are your mailing address and ours." Together with the TandF descriptor, that covers what appears on a package and on a statement.

What the money buys and who it suits

The shop sells vibrators, masturbators, dildos, strap-ons, bondage items, lingerie, sex furniture and machines, lubricants and condoms. The home page names Lovense, Tracy's Dog, Fleshlight and Arcwave as featured brands, and the footer brand list adds Strap On Me, Liberator, Autoblow, Tenga, Honey Play Box, Satisfyer, Pipedream, Lelo and the store's own Thorn & Feather line. It also features "Premium Lubricants Made in Canada" as a collection, and a Shopping Guide carries articles such as a comparison of Tenga products. The FAQ says the brands it carries use body-safe silicone, ABS or stainless steel, which is the store's own statement.

Who this suits: a Canadian buyer who wants to see the regular price and the reduced price together, who plans to order more than once and will use the points, and who values a statement line that does not name the store. It is a less natural fit for someone who wants a headline coupon, a stated sign-up credit amount or a published return window on the first page they see. The home page also says the store keeps marketing and operating costs low and that "In many cases, our prices are even lower than larger retailers", a claim it makes without naming those retailers.
