Naughty North

What Naughty North is and what the saving is

Naughty North describes itself as a Canadian women-owned sexual wellness online boutique focused on intimacy, pleasure, self-care and body-safe products. Its home page meta description calls it "Canada's Favourite Women-Owned and Operated Sex Toy Store" and says it has run since 2015, and the storefront trades on Shopify under the name NN Shop. It sells vibrators, dildos, men's toys, anal toys, bondage and kink gear, sexual wellness products, lubricants and couples' items, plus a blog.

The saving on offer is a shop sale rather than a membership: a Deals and Closeouts collection where individual products carry an original price and a lower current price, and a free shipping threshold on Canadian orders. The collection is tied to limited stock, under the heading "Limited Quantity - While Supplies Last". No trial, coupon code or sign-up discount is printed anywhere on the home page or the closeout collection. It is a boutique with a small clearance shelf, not a store running a standing percentage off.

The Deals and Closeouts collection

The Deals and Closeouts collection opens with a short paragraph calling it "Deals, Closeouts, Bargains" at "rock-bottom prices", and repeats that quantities are limited and that the offer runs while supplies last. It gives no end date and no schedule, so the only limit it states is stock. The tab title of the collection calls it a cheap sex toys section for vibrators and dildos.

Each product tile prints an "Original price", a "Current price" and a "Save" line. The tiles do not all behave the same way. In October 2026 the Je Joue Onyx vibrating butt plug showed an original price of $159.99, a current price of $79.00 and a "Save $80.99" line, which is the store's own arithmetic. A Temptasia bondage kit with a carry case and a silicone squirting packer showed identical original and current prices with a "Save $0.00" line, so appearing in the collection did not by itself mean a reduction. A vibrating squirting dildo in the same collection listed a current price higher than its original price. Only the price pair on each tile shows whether that item is actually reduced.

The filter panel lists material, price range, color, product type and availability, and shows every product in the collection as in stock. Product types named there are anal toy, bondage kit, dildo and packer, and feature filters include body safe, rechargeable, waterproof and harness compatible. No minimum spend, per-customer limit or rule about combining closeout items with other promotions is stated for the markdowns.

Prices outside the closeout shelf

Outside the closeout shelf the home page shows ordinary shelf prices with the original and current figures matching. In October 2026 the We-Vibe Nova 2 rabbit vibrator was listed at $159.00 with no markdown, and the Sliquid H2O lubricant, which the store calls its top-selling lube, was priced by bottle size. New arrivals on the same page included Lovense, Tenga and ON products, and the bestseller row added We-Vibe, Aneros, Hot Octopuss, Sportsheets and ILY items, all at matching original and current prices.

Some lubricant and cream tiles in the bestseller row print an empty original price beside a real current price, a display quirk rather than a discount. Several bestsellers, including a door sling and an under-the-bed restraint kit, are marked sold out beside available items, so stock on popular lines moves.

For a smaller budget the store runs its own price band rather than a markdown: as of October 2026 the vibrator, dildo and men's toy menus each open a "Finds Under $50" collection. That is a standing price filter, not a discount against a regular price.

Shipping threshold and the cart

The home page states free Canadian shipping when a customer spends $69+, and the cart panel shows a running line reading how far the basket is "away from free shipping". As of October 2026 that threshold is the one standing shipping mechanic printed. No flat rate for orders below the threshold, delivery time, carrier or tax rule is given, so the cost of a smaller order is not stated.

The product type list also includes an item called "Slidecart - Shipping Protection". Its price, and whether it is added at checkout or comes pre-selected, are not stated.

Currency, billing and payment methods

Prices are in Canadian dollars. A country selector offers Canada and United States, and both are labeled "CAD $", so the US option does not switch the display currency. The footer's information links include "Pay with Sezzle", naming Sezzle as a payment option, though how its installments work, what fees apply and which orders qualify are not described. No card processor, billing descriptor or list of accepted cards is named. Gift cards are sold, and the home page promotes them under the line "Give the gift of pleasure".

Because this is a one-time retail purchase, there is no subscription, no rebill and no trial conversion to explain. The newsletter box asks for an email address to "Find out about great sales, new blog posts, and exclusive deals" and states no discount in return for signing up.

Returns, refunds and getting out

The footer links a Shipping & Returns page and a Contact Us page, but the return window, who pays for return shipping and whether closeout items are final sale are not stated on the home page or the closeout collection. For a closeout purchase that is the question worth settling before checkout.

There is no membership to cancel. The menu carries a customer login, and the footer adds an About Us page and an accessibility statement.

What the money buys and who the offer suits

The catalog spans vibrators, dildos, men's masturbators and cock rings, anal toys, bondage and kink, lubricants, couples' products, games and lingerie. A sexual wellness menu adds collections for menopause and low libido support, pelvic floor and kegel exercisers, vaginal dilators, and mobility aids and accessible toys. The home page says a staff menopause expert assembled the menopause collection around lubrication, gentle stimulation, blood flow and comfort, and describes a separate men's performance range as non-prescription products such as pumps, cock rings and hollow strap-ons. Featured collections include a stay-in date night set, a vulva-focused solo range, sex toys for seniors, soft bondage for couples and quiet, discreet toys. The store describes its shipping as fast and discreet and its checkout as "Secure, Private & Discreet".

The blog covers topics such as how air pulsation toys work, external prostate massage and beginner toys for couples, which fits the boutique's education angle.

The offer suits a Canadian shopper who wants one specific toy and is willing to check a short clearance list first, or who is already filling a basket and wants to see how close it sits to the free shipping line. It suits less well a shopper who wants a promo code, a first-order discount or a loyalty scheme, since none is printed. It also suits less well anyone who needs the return rules in hand before buying, and anyone who wants a long list of reduced items, since the closeout collection holds only a handful of products and in October 2026 only the Je Joue plug carried a lower current price.
