What the shop is and where the saving sits
HOTME.ca, which the site also writes as Heat of the Moment Express, is an adult shop in North York, Ontario, that sells online and delivers across the Greater Toronto Area. Its FAQ calls it a local GTA adult shop offering discreet one-hour delivery, and the about page says it carries over 800 sex toys, along with lingerie, lotions and costumes from brands such as Lelo, We-Vibe, Tenga and Fleshlight. It is not a walk-in store: every order is placed online first and then either delivered or collected.
The saving is a mix of three things. In October 2026 a banner on every page offers a percentage off once a cart reaches a stated spend. Choosing pickup at the North York address takes a flat 20% off and removes the delivery fee. And the pages state that every order includes a free gift. There is no trial, no membership and no subscription, so nothing here renews. The offer is decided by what goes in the cart and how it reaches you.
The ladder of order sizes
The shop has no plans, but it does have thresholds, and they matter more than the product prices. The FAQ sets a minimum order before tax. Below it, the shop will not run a normal delivery or pickup, though the FAQ says a smaller order can sometimes be prepared for pickup only after a call or chat. Above it, the delivery fee falls as the cart grows: the FAQ says the fee is based on distance and on how much is spent, and that bigger carts pay less for delivery. The page never prints the fee itself. Instead, after an order is placed the shop texts the exact fee and timing before any payment is sent, and a buyer who dislikes the new total can cancel at that point.
In October 2026 the FAQ gives the minimum as $69.00 before tax, while the pricing block on the home page reads $69.95 as the minimum purchase and adds a $1.95 booking fee. The two figures sit a few cents apart and the pages do not reconcile them, so the checkout total is the reliable number. The banner says spending $180 or more earns 10% off. The cart drawer also shows a free shipping line that reads "Buy $500.00 more to enjoy FREE Shipping". The pages do not explain that line further or say how it relates to the delivery fee.
Pickup, the bigger discount
The pickup route is where the largest stated saving lives. As of October 2026 the FAQ says pickup at the North York location saves 20% and carries no delivery fee, provided the order still meets the minimum. A cart below the minimum does not qualify for the 20%. Pickup orders must still be placed online, the shop texts when the order is ready, and the buyer calls or texts on arrival so the order is brought out to the vehicle. The pickup window runs from 11:00 AM to roughly 1:30 AM according to the FAQ.
One passage on the same page spells out a workaround in the shop's own words: choose pickup to get the 20%, then send a ride-share, taxi or friend to collect it. The FAQ presents this as a tip rather than as a written rule.
After you order
There is no trial to convert and no renewal, so the questions that matter are what changes after the order is placed.
Cancellation is time-bound. The FAQ says an order can be canceled any time before payment is sent or before a driver is dispatched, by replying to the confirmation text. Once payment is received or a driver is on the way, the order is locked in. The FAQ states the rule as: no payment sent and no driver on the way means it can be canceled, payment received or driver on route means it cannot.
The returns page is firmer still. It says all sales made through the site are final and non-refundable, that no exchanges are offered, and that the shop does not resell anything that has left its premises. The list of covered items takes in vibrators, dildos, anal toys, rings, sleeves, gags, ropes, lingerie and all sexual enhancements, and it adds lubes, massage oils, condoms and body paints, including free gifts. Defective goods are the exception: the buyer sends a video of the fault to customer service, and if it is confirmed the shop has the item shipped back and sends a replacement at no extra cost. A buyer whose item merely stops working is told to check the manufacturer warranty first, and one whose problem turns out to be user error pays the shipping cost to send it back.
The page offers one softener. As a gesture of goodwill the shop says it will give coupon codes for the next purchase after a final-sale order. It prints no code and states no value.
Two further charges are worth knowing, as the returns page read in October 2026 states them. If the buyer cannot meet the driver and the order has to return to the shop, the returns page applies a fee of $50.00 for the additional delivery attempt, and a second delivery may carry a new delivery fee. The shop also reserves the right to cancel an order in bad weather or heavy traffic, if a delivery vehicle breaks down, or if the shop is unable to confirm the order with the buyer by phone. An order placed after 2 am may not qualify for one-hour delivery.
Billing and payment methods
The FAQ says most one-hour deliveries go out by Uber, so delivery orders are paid by Interac e-Transfer, which has to arrive before the order is sent. The home page promises easy checkout with no online payment: the buyer sends the payment after checkout. When a shop driver is free instead of Uber, the FAQ allows cash at the door, e-transfer before dispatch, or debit and credit on the driver's wireless terminal. Credit cards are not taken over the phone. At pickup, cash, debit, credit or e-transfer are accepted if pickup was chosen at checkout.
No page names a payment processor or a statement descriptor for the card payments taken at the door or at pickup. Prices are shown in dollars and the minimum order is stated before tax, but the pages do not print a tax rate. Every order is confirmed by text after checkout with the updated total and payment details, so the amount owed is fixed before any money moves. The FAQ also says packaging is plain and unmarked, with no store name or adult wording, and that the driver does not know what the package holds.
Who the offer suits
The numbers favor two kinds of buyer: someone willing to collect at North York for the pickup discount and no delivery fee, and someone building a cart past the banner's threshold so the delivery fee shrinks and the spend discount applies. A cart that only just reaches the minimum with delivery is the weakest case, since it earns neither discount and still carries a delivery fee. The final-sale rule also means the saving suits a product chosen with certainty. The catalog the pages list spans vibrators, dildos, masturbators, bondage, lingerie, lubes, condoms, couples toys and sex dolls, so the discounts apply across a wide range rather than one product type.
