What the offer is

Boutique Toi & Moi is an intimate-goods boutique in Gatineau, Quebec, with an online store that ships across Canada. Its own line, given in French and English, describes adult products, sex toys, wellness items, lubricants and lingerie, with discreet delivery. The terms of service name the operator as TOIETMOILOVESHOP and say the store runs on Shopify. The banner running across every page says "Proudly Canadian", "Rooted in Quebec Since 1979" and adds a claim about top brands at low prices, which the pages do not back with any comparison.

The saving is a plain retail one. Items on the home page and in the accessories collection show a regular price, a sale price and a "Save" amount side by side, and a banner promises free shipping Canada-wide above a spending threshold. Nothing here is sold by subscription: a markdown lowers the price of one item in one order, and the next order is priced afresh. The terms deserve a read: they are long, written in French, and they leave the shop wide latitude to change prices, limit orders and cancel them, which matters to anyone chasing a marked-down item.

The sale prices and the shipping tier

In October 2026 the home page lists a handful of "Popular in Canada" items with the sale format. The Nova 2 by We-Vibe shows a regular price of $159.95 and a sale price of $149.90, with "Save $10.05" printed beside it. The accessories collection, which filters by availability and by price, shows larger markdowns on some pieces. The Universal Launch shows a regular price of $339.95 and a sale price of $265.60 with "Save $74.35".

Those amounts are the page's own arithmetic, and the pages do not print a percentage. Several items on the collection page carry the "Sold Out" label even though a sale price is shown, so a reduced price is no guarantee of stock. The "Sale" label appears on the item card, and the page gives no end date for any markdown, so nothing says how long a reduced price will stand. The cart panel adds one more line worth reading: "Shipping, taxes, and discount codes calculated at checkout." The line refers to discount codes, but no page prints one. The footer invites shoppers to join a VIP mailing list, and it states no discount or other benefit for signing up.

On shipping, the banner read in October 2026 says "Free Shipping Canada-Wide on Orders Over $100". The pages do not say which carrier or service applies, how many days delivery takes, or what shipping costs below that amount, so a buyer under the threshold sees the rate only at checkout. The French tagline on the home page adds that delivery is discreet across Canada.

What can change after you order

The terms of service spend most of their length on the shop's rights, and several clauses bear on a deal. First, prices of the products can change without notice, and the shop is not liable to the buyer or to anyone else for a price change. Second, product descriptions and pricing can change at any time at the shop's sole discretion, and the shop can stop selling a product whenever it chooses. Third, the shop can refuse any order, and it can limit or cancel the quantities bought per person, per household or per order, including orders placed from the same customer account, the same credit card or the same billing or shipping address. Fourth, the shop can limit or refuse orders that appear to come from dealers, resellers or distributors.

A fifth clause covers errors. The terms say the site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions in descriptions, prices, promotions, offers, shipping costs, delivery times and availability, and that the shop may correct them and cancel orders when information is inaccurate, at any time and without notice, including after the order has been placed. For a reduced price this is the clause that counts: a sale price that turns out to be a mistake can be withdrawn by canceling the order. If the shop changes or cancels an order, the terms say it may try to tell the buyer by the email address, billing address or phone number given at the time of the order.

There is also no stated price-match or price-adjustment rule. The pages neither promise a refund of the difference if an item is marked down later nor deny it, so that question is open. The pages describe no pre-selected add-on at checkout.

Billing

The pages say little about payment. The terms state that credit card information is always encrypted when it moves across networks, and that the buyer must keep account details current, including email address, credit card numbers and their expiry dates, so the shop can finish transactions. Beyond that the pages list no accepted card brands, no PayPal or other wallet, no payment processor and no billing descriptor. The terms say the store is hosted on Shopify, which they describe as the company supplying the online commerce platform, and they do not go further into how payments are taken.

Prices carry a dollar sign and no currency code in the page text, from a shop that describes itself as Canadian and ships across Canada. Taxes are described only by the cart line quoted above, which says they are calculated at checkout. The terms name the operator as TOIETMOILOVESHOP, which is the name a buyer should expect in the shop's own documents, but the pages do not say that name is what appears on a card statement.

Returns, cancellation and getting out

Because nothing recurs, getting out means the return policy and the cancellation rules. The terms refer twice to a "Politique de retour" (return policy), saying that returns and exchanges are strictly subject to it, but the terms do not reproduce that policy, so they state no return window, no condition for returned goods and no refund method. The same goes for the refund rule: the terms mention it only by pointing to the policy.

What the terms do state on the buyer's side is termination of the agreement. The buyer can end the terms at any time by telling the shop the services are no longer wanted, or by ceasing to use the site. The shop can end the agreement at any time without notice if it considers that a term has been breached, and the buyer then remains responsible for amounts owed up to the date of termination. Questions about the terms go to the shop's email address, which the terms and the contact page both list. The contact page also offers a form protected by hCaptcha and a phone number, and it gives the shop's street address on Notre-Dame Street in Gatineau with opening hours from Monday to Saturday, closed on Sunday. The terms place the agreement under the law of that same Gatineau address.

What the money buys, and who it suits

The catalog spans vibrators, men's products, couples' items, lingerie in regular and curvy sizes, anal and lubricant ranges, massage products, dolls and accessories, organized under nav headings for her, for him, for couples and others. For a shopper after toy deals the useful part is the accessories collection, where attachments, toy bags and drying racks show a "Save" amount, and the home page, where a few vibrators and wellness products do the same.

The offer suits a Canadian buyer who wants a retail discount on a named item and is comfortable that the shop can change a price or cancel an order. The free-shipping line helps anyone who can reach the threshold, though nothing is said about the rate below it. It suits less a buyer who needs a written return window before paying, because the terms only point to a separate return policy, or one who wants to know the payment methods and the statement name in advance, since neither is listed. A shopper who sees a very deep markdown on a single item, as on the Universal Launch, would do well to check stock first, as several marked-down items are listed as sold out.
