What SOHIMI is and what the saving looks like

SOHIMI is an online shop for app-connected intimate wellness products, run from sohimi.com. The menu sorts the range into products for women, for men and for couples, with vibrators, dildos, male masturbators, anal toys, gay and lesbian toys, app-control toys and lingerie among the entries. It is a store for single orders. The pages list no membership, no subscription and no renewal, so nothing here rebills.

The saving comes in a few forms. A newsletter sign-up promises a percentage off a first purchase. A Weekly Deal collection shows a rotating selection at marked-down prices. And many individual products print a regular price beside a sale price. None of these carries an end date, and the Weekly Deal collection says plainly that its items change as stock changes.

The newsletter discount and the cart offer

The standing offer is the newsletter box that sits in the footer of every page. It reads: "Subscribe to our newsletter and get 15% off your first purchase". In October 2026 that line appeared on the home page, the shipping policy page and the reviews page. The help center explains where a discount code goes: in the coupon tag inside the shopping cart, or in the "Discount code" box on the checkout page. The pages do not say whether the newsletter discount can be combined with the sale prices on marked-down items, or whether it expires.

A second line sits in the cart drawer. As of October 2026 it read "Get 15% OFF on all orders over" CHF 79.00 on the pages shown in Swiss francs and over $79 on the page shown in dollars. Beside it the cart shows a three-step bar marked 15%, 20% and 25%, without saying what spend each step needs, and two more lines: free shipping on every order worldwide with no minimum purchase, and free returns on unopened items with no restocking fee. How the cart line relates to the newsletter discount is not explained.

That free-shipping line also appears on the home page. The help center and the shipping policy word it more loosely: shipping charges and any free-shipping threshold vary by destination and current promotion, and the final charge is shown in the cart before payment. Read together, the checkout screen is the page that settles it.

Weekly Deal and marked-down products

The Weekly Deal collection calls itself "a rotating selection of Sohimi products with limited-time pricing", covering select vibrators, dildos, male toys and couple-friendly products depending on stock. It adds that items may leave the collection when stock sells through or the offer ends, that the products are store products rather than pre-owned items, and that deal items can still fall under store policy and warranty depending on the item and offer terms.

The same pattern runs through the product grid and the cart suggestions. In October 2026 the help center's product suggestions showed a masturbator called Martino at a regular price of $129.99 and a sale price of $72.99 - $79.99, and the brand's own water-based lubricant with a sale price beside a higher regular one. These are the shop's own printed comparisons. The pages do not state how long any sale price lasts, so the regular price is the figure the discount is measured against and nothing more.

The shop shows prices in Swiss francs on some pages and in dollars on others: the contact page lists the same Martino in francs, so the currency at checkout is the one to compare.

After you order: billing and what appears on the statement

Because this is a shop, the question after checkout is what the charge looks like and what else gets added. The refund rules mention a package-protection fee as non-refundable, but no page says whether it is offered as an option or added by default, and there is no trial to convert. Payment is described in the help center: checkout may display credit or debit cards and digital wallets such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay, when those options are available for the country, device and order. Payment information goes to the payment providers shown at checkout over encrypted connections, and the help center says approval and extra security checks are handled by the card issuer, card network, wallet and provider. No single processor is named.

On the statement, the shipping policy says the card or bank statement shows a merchant or payment-processor descriptor rather than product names. Depending on payment method, processor and issuing bank, it may appear as SOHIMI, a shortened merchant name or the provider's own descriptor, and the shop says it cannot guarantee the exact wording. The help center repeats that there is not one universal descriptor. A reader who wants to know in advance can email support with the payment method and billing country planned.

International orders may carry customs duties, import taxes or local fees. Any amount collected at checkout is identified there, and charges imposed by a destination authority fall on the customer unless law says otherwise. The shipping policy gives delivery estimates, not guarantees, and says orders can ship from the United States, Germany, Japan, China or another region.

Canceling an order and returning an item

An order can be canceled for a full refund only before it has shipped. The help center and the return policy both say this. To cancel, the customer emails support as soon as possible and puts the order ID in the subject line. After dispatch an order cannot be canceled, though an eligible unopened item can still be returned.

The return policy, effective September 9, 2026, allows a preference-based return requested within 30 calendar days after delivery. The item must be unopened, unused, in its original packaging and with every hygiene seal intact. Opened or used products cannot go back for preference reasons. Gift cards, opened lubricants and consumables, personalized items, mystery boxes and items marked "Final Sale" are excluded from preference returns. The shop charges no restocking fee, and it asks customers to email before sending anything and to ship an authorized return within 7 calendar days.

The pages disagree on who pays return shipping. The return policy page says SOHIMI covers reasonable standard return shipping for an approved preference return, and the cart promises free returns on unopened items, while the help center says the customer pays return shipping for preference returns. Both the policy and the help center ask for an email to support before anything is sent back, and that exchange is where the return label and cost get settled.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of an approved claim or an authorized return being received and inspected, and the bank may need a further 5-10 business days to post the credit. Original shipping charges, expedited-shipping charges, package-protection fees, unrecoverable customs duties and taxes are not refundable.

Delivery problems and the warranty

Separate from preference returns, the shop promises to deal with a wrong, missing, visibly damaged or non-functioning item reported within 7 calendar days after delivery. It may ask for photos or a short video, and for an approved claim it offers a replacement, reshipment or refund and covers reasonable standard shipping to resolve it. Eligible SOHIMI-branded rechargeable and electronic devices also carry a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the original purchase date against defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty excludes normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, incorrect charging, use beyond the stated water-resistance rating and damage from incompatible lubricants. Where no replacement is available, the shop may give a refund or store credit.

Who the offer suits

SOHIMI suits a first-time buyer who wants to see whether the newsletter discount lands on an app-connected toy, and someone who likes browsing a rotating clearance page for a single item. The companion app is named in the manuals as Joyhub, optional on products that also have onboard controls, with pairing steps that vary by device.

It suits less well anyone who needs a clear answer on stacking before paying, since the pages do not settle how the newsletter line, the cart line and sale prices combine. It is also a poor fit for a shopper who wants to try an opened product, because the return window covers sealed items only. Customer service, by email or a US phone line, keeps hours listed in Eastern time, Monday to Friday and on weekends, so a reader in another time zone should allow for the gap when waiting on a reply.
