What Adam & Eve is and where the saving sits

Adam & Eve is an online retailer of adult toys, lingerie, lubricants and bath and body products, run by PHE, Inc., the company named in the copyright line at the foot of every page. Its home page says that for over 55 years the store has served individuals and couples with quality products, discreet shipping and a satisfaction guarantee, and it calls Adam & Eve one of the nation's most established sexual wellness retailers; both are the brand's own claims. The store sells goods one order at a time, so there is no membership, no trial and no rebill. The saving comes from the store itself: a coupon page that prints its own promo codes, a banner code on the sale pages, a sale and clearance section where each product shows its regular price beside the marked-down one, mystery box bundles priced against a stated value, and a free shipping code above a spend level.

The store's own codes

The coupon page on adameve.com, read in October 2026, prints a row of codes, each typed into the "Claim Your Discount" box on the cart page. GET35 takes 35% off one item and ENJOY20 takes 20% off an order; both carry the note "Exclusions may apply". CASH40 takes a fixed dollar amount off an order above a stated minimum. Shipping codes sit beside them: 69SHIP for free standard shipping on a larger order, and 2DAYLUV for free 2 day shipping on a still larger one. The page sets no end date on any of them, and the Canadian storefront's coupon page at adameve.ca prints the same codes.

The coupon page's own FAQ sets the limits. Some codes need a minimum order total, or a second item in the cart, before the discount appears; some work only with certain products or product categories; and manufacturer or vendor restrictions cap the discount some items can take, so the full percentage is not always applied. Only one code runs at a time: entering a new code replaces the current one, and the page suggests keeping the current code if it is better. Joining the store's email list brings further discounts and gift offers by email each month, according to the same page.

Separately, as of October 2026 the top banner of the sale, shipping and returns pages reads "Take 50% Off Two Items w/code DOUBLE50". The banner gives no end date and does not say which items count when a basket holds more. The home page and a sign-up page also promise a "Mystery Deal" for signing up to emails and SMS, open to ages 18 and older only; neither page says what the deal is.

Sale, clearance and mystery boxes

The sale and clearance pages show, for each product, the regular price, the sale price and the saving the store prints. In October 2026 many items carry a "50% Off Special Offer" tag with an "Only" price beside the struck regular price, others show smaller percentages, and the clearance page lists the rest with a printed saving in dollars and percent. These are product-level markdowns, set item by item, and they are not a code to enter.

The same pages sell mystery boxes, bundles whose contents are not named. The sale page read in October 2026 listed the Naughty Couples Mystery Box at $74.99 against a printed $305.00, and boxes for her, for couples and for a date night carry their own prices and savings. The printed regular price is the store's own valuation of items the buyer does not choose, so the comparison rests on that figure rather than on a list of contents, and no page lists what is inside. An advent calendar of products sits in the same sale lists with its own sale and regular price.

Shipping

Free standard shipping needs the code. The home page read in October 2026 says to order $69 or more and enter 69SHIP at checkout, and the coupon page adds that the code is valid for standard shipping only. Standard shipping by the US Postal Service reaches the eastern United States in 5-8 business days and the western states, Alaska, Hawaii and US territories in 10-14 business days, and it works for PO, APO and FPO addresses. Expedited delivery takes 3-5 business days, and UPS 2-Day, UPS Overnight, Saturday delivery in select areas at an additional charge, and UPS Access Point pickup are offered too.

A backordered item ships later by standard shipping and is not charged extra, and free or backordered items cannot go by express mail. If an express option was paid for and nothing in the order shipped that way, the shipping page says the difference is refunded. Orders above a set total, or holding a high-priced item, need a signature on delivery. Packages go out in nondescript envelopes and boxes, and the name Adam & Eve appears nowhere on the outside.

International orders ship by DHL at rates shown at checkout and are not shipped until payment is received. DHL Priority includes duties and taxes; on DHL Standard and DHL Express they may be due on receipt, and the shipping page says the store is not responsible for duties, customs or taxes outside the United States.

Billing and payment

The terms say the store bills orders through one or more third-party payment processors, which they do not name, and that it is not responsible for errors by the processor. Payments are in US dollars, sales tax is added where required, and the buyer may change the payment method at any time. Prices can change at any time, but the terms say they will not change once an order has been placed. The home page's discreet-billing line says the store's name and logo do not appear anywhere on the package or on the billing statement; it does not say what the statement shows instead.

At checkout the home page offers "Easy Pay in 4", a purchase split into 4 interest-free payments with Klarna or PayPal. The store also sells eGift cards, redeemable only on adameve.com, bought and redeemed in the US and Canada, and never expiring according to the gift card page; promotional or bonus gift cards may carry their own expiry or restrictions, noted in the promotion when issued.

Returns, refunds and support

Nothing renews, so the way out of a purchase is the return policy. The returns page says any item sold on the site can be returned for any reason within the first 90 days for a replacement or a refund, unless the product description notes otherwise. Adam & Eve labeled products carry a 5-year warranty and can be replaced for up to 5 years; other brands' products bought on the site can be replaced for up to 2 years with the same item, or a similar one if it is unavailable.

The buyer pays return postage, C.O.D. returns are not accepted, and original shipping and handling charges are not refunded. A return goes by mail with the printed return form, or with a note giving name and address, the items, the order email and whether a refund or a different item is wanted. Refunds go back to the original payment method once the return is processed; the page allows up to 3-4 weeks for that, and a card company may take up to 10 additional business days to post the refund. The home page puts phone support at 7 days a week from 7am to midnight, and the returns page says chat and email answer 24/7. The pages describe no step for canceling an order before it ships.

What the money buys and who it suits

The catalog runs from vibrators, dildos, masturbators and anal toys to bondage gear, lingerie, lubes, and bath and body products, from the store's own label and many outside brands, with a love doll category in the men's menu.

The codes suit a buyer who will type one in at checkout: the one-item code fits a single larger purchase, the order-wide and fixed-amount codes fit a fuller basket, and the shipping codes fit an order above their thresholds. The sale section suits a shopper who reads the printed regular price beside the sale price, and the mystery boxes suit someone comfortable with a bundle of unnamed items valued by the store. The caveats are plain: one code per order, exclusions and vendor caps that can shrink a discount, no end dates on any code, return postage at the buyer's cost, and no named processor or statement line.
