What maude is and where the saving sits

maude is a sexual wellness brand that sells vibrators and other devices, personal lubricants, condoms, and body and scent products through its own web shop. The terms of service name Maude Group, Inc. as the company behind the site, and the about page says the brand launched in 2018. The shop describes its devices as ergonomic, made from soft-touch silicone and meant for solo use or with a partner, and calls its range "Fairly-priced, thoughtfully-made intimacy essentials". A banner across the site says the range is also sold at Target and Ulta stores, so the web shop is one of several places to buy.

The savings come in three forms: gift sets and kits that price a device and a lubricant together, a subscribe and save program that discounts repeat orders of consumables, and a free-shipping threshold on larger baskets. The site has no trial, no membership fee and no sign-up credit; the newsletter box promises promotions and early access without naming an amount. The rules that shape the value of all three are the final-sale policy, which excludes everything except the vibrator from returns, and the absence of any written cancellation route for the subscriptions.

The gift set and subscription ladder

In words, the ladder runs from single products, through device-and-lubricant sets and two-device sets, up to travel and scent kits, with a separate subscribe and save tier for consumables. The gift sets page describes its sets as making it simple to try the bestsellers together, and several of the device sets carry a "ships free" label. In October 2026 it listed a gift bundle with a vibe and an aloe-based lubricant at a sale price of $59.00 against a regular price of $62.00. Two scent kits likewise print a regular price above a lower sale price with a percentage-off tag, and a small condom and lubricant pack carries a percentage tag of its own. Every other set shows only a single "Sale price", with no regular figure beside it.

The standalone devices give the reference point for the sets. As of October 2026 the home page lists the 3-speed external vibrator at $52.00, and the vibrating ring, the portable vibrator, the plugs, the sleeve and the 5-speed internal vibrator are all labeled "Sale price" too. The page does not say what any of them cost before, so on the device pages "sale price" is the brand's label rather than a stated reduction, and no page states what a set saves against buying its parts.

The subscription collection carries the discount the brand states outright. In October 2026 it read subscribe and save 10% on singles, 12% on 2-packs and 15% on 3-packs, and the cart banner repeats "Save up to 15% off!". Products in that collection include condoms, lubricants, a warming lubricant, a massage oil, body washes, massage candles and an ingrown hair oil, each priced "From" a single-unit figure. The collection does not say how often a subscribed product ships, whether the frequency can be changed, or whether the first order is discounted or only the later ones.

Shipping thresholds and delivery options

Shipping is the other lever. In October 2026 the site announced free US shipping on orders of $85 and over, delivered through USPS in the contiguous United States. Below that amount a flat-rate shipping fee applies within the United States, and the FAQ does not print the amount. Expedited and international shipments are priced by provider and destination.

The FAQ lists the delivery options and their timelines: USPS First Class in 5-10 business days, UPS Ground in 2-5 business days (not to PO boxes), UPS Next Day Air on the next business day before 12pm when ordered by 10am EST, UPS Next Day Air Saver on the next business day after 12pm when ordered by 12pm EST, and Passport Priority Duties Paid in 10-15 business days. The brand ships to APO addresses and all 50 states, and to Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union and Australia, although international fulfillment is unavailable for some products. Packaging is described as plain white or neutral boxes, and the FAQ says the shipping cartons are made from recycled fibers.

What happens after checkout

Because the offers are one-time purchases or subscriptions rather than a trial, the money question after checkout is what happens to a repeat order. The terms mention subscriptions only in the clause about third party payment providers, which says those providers may receive updated card details from the card issuer so that a payment or subscription is not interrupted by an outdated or invalid card. The card issuer decides whether to send the update, and the terms say a cardholder who wants out of that service should contact the issuer.

No page describes a subscription management screen, a skip or pause option, or a notice before each shipment, and no add-on is shown pre-selected at checkout. The terms add that maude may change fees and charges, add new ones, or change or remove pricing models at any time at its sole discretion, and the subscription discount sits under that clause like every other price.

Billing, processor and taxes

The terms say that after the product selection and shipping information, the buyer enters payment details and any promotional codes, and that submitting the order authorizes maude and its third party payment processors to charge the order amount to the chosen payment method. No processor is named and the site publishes no billing descriptor. The terms do name Shopify as the e-commerce platform that powers the store.

Prices include local taxes according to the terms, which also say maude is not responsible for banking charges a buyer incurs on payments. The site shows currency options for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and many European countries. Orders shipped to the European Union, Great Britain or Canada are sold by a shipping partner, Passport Global, Inc., under its own terms; customs clearance charges fall on the recipient, and the terms state that maude cannot predict them.

Returns, warranty and getting out

The cancellation and return rules are short. The terms state that, with the exception of the vibrator, all items on the site are for final sale and returns are not accepted. They offer a one-year warranty on the vibrators and refer to a separate Warranty page for the details, and the footer links an EU Withdrawal page for European buyers; the terms themselves state no withdrawal period.

The address on an order can be corrected by e-mailing the orders address, but after 24 hours from placing the order the shop cannot edit order information. Account deletion is done by e-mail as well. Customer help is by e-mail or the contact form, Monday to Friday between 10am and 5pm EST. The terms set no window for canceling an order before dispatch and do not say how to stop a subscription.

What the money buys and who the offer suits

The catalog is compact: a few vibrators, a vibrating ring, a sleeve and plugs among the devices, aloe, silicone and warming lubricants, latex condoms in regular and large, body care, scented candles and travel accessories. The FAQ says the devices use platinum-grade silicone and that the lubricants and condoms are FDA-cleared, in the brand's own words.

The offer suits someone who wants a first device and a lubricant in one order, someone who will reorder lubricant or condoms and wants the subscription discount, and a United States shopper who can reach the free-shipping line. It suits less well a buyer who wants to try a device and return it, since every item other than the vibrator is final sale, a buyer who wants a stated cancellation route before starting a subscription, and an international buyer who needs the import charges spelled out in advance.
