What Lovers is and what the saving looks like

Lovers is an American adult retailer founded in 1981, whose first stores opened just outside Seattle and whose headquarters is in Auburn, Washington. The homepage calls it an omnichannel company running 40 adult stores across five states beside the online shop. The marketing-text terms name the business as TLA Acquisition Corp., doing business as Lovers, while the online shop's terms say the website is operated by Innov8 Solutions, Inc., a Nevada company, which also processes card payments. The shop sells vibrators, dildos, anal and penis toys, BDSM gear, sex furniture, lingerie, lubricants, wellness products and its own Lovers Exclusives line.

Nothing here is a membership. The savings are a set of items marked down by a stated percentage against their original price, the free Afterglow rewards program with points for a sign-up and every dollar spent, a free-ground-shipping threshold and an email list that the help page says sends subscriber offers. A reader who stops here has the picture: a chain retailer's web shop whose standing discount is the markdown shelf, with points that turn into money off later orders.

The markdowns

As of October 2026 the homepage tags a run of products 15% OFF and carries a banner for 15% off select lingerie. On the tagged cards the original price and the sale price sit side by side: a thrusting rabbit vibrator shows an original price of $96.95 and a sale price of $82.41, and the store's own Juicy G dual vibrator and several new-arrival lingerie dresses carry the same 15% tag. Other bestsellers on the same shelf carry one plain price with no tag. The homepage prints no end date for the tags.

The promotions page explains how code-based promotions work when they run. Its standing rules: discount and dollar-off codes cannot be combined and are valid online only through the dates given; every discount and dollar-off promotion excludes merchandise already on sale and a long list of brands, among them Lelo, Fun Factory, Tenga, Satisfyer, Womanizer and We-Vibe; a coupon must be used at checkout; and on a buy-one-get-one offer the second item must be of equal or lesser value. A code therefore never applies on top of a 15% tag. The help page adds that email coupons are applied automatically when the shopper clicks through from the email, that a printed coupon's code is entered on the order form or given by phone, and that most coupons expire and some require a minimum purchase. A footer line repeated on every page warns that offers may not be combined, may change or end without notice, and are online only.

The Afterglow points program

Afterglow is the standing loyalty scheme, and joining costs nothing. In October 2026 the rewards page lists 10,000 points for creating an account and 100 points per $1 spent, with smaller awards for writing a review and for following the store on Facebook and Instagram, a birthday reward, and a members-only sale on the first Tuesday of each month that earns 4x the points. Points are applied as a discount in the cart in fixed steps, from $5 off for 10,000 points up to $20 off for 40,000 points, and the page headlines an extra $5 at registration. The rewards page does not say whether points expire or whether they can be used on the brands the promotions page excludes.

Store credit is separate from points. The terms say it expires after one year without a purchase, has no cash value, cannot be transferred and is redeemed online only.

Shipping and delivery

The banner on every page, read in October 2026, offers free shipping on orders of $69 or more, and the footer calls it free ground shipping. The help page limits free-shipping offers to the 50 US states and Armed Forces addresses, not US territories. The homepage FAQ says the shop ships to approved US states but not to Alabama or US territories, and to Canada, where delivery takes from 5 business days to 2 weeks. Inside the United States the FAQ aims to ship within two days and gives typical delivery of 1-3 days in Washington State, 2-4 business days to the western states and 3-5 business days to the east. Parcels go out in unmarked boxes or envelopes with the shipper shown as Innov8 Solutions.

Billing

The help page lists three ways to pay: credit card, PayPal, and personal check or money order from a US bank account, made out to Innov8 Solutions, Inc., with a three-week wait before a check-paid order ships. Card charges, the help page says, are processed by Innov8 Solutions at its Las Vegas address, and the statement line, printed on the homepage, the help page and the terms alike, reads Innov8*LVS 1-888-336-0828, so the name Lovers does not appear on it. Sales tax may come on top of the listed prices and is shown at checkout with shipping. Lovers gift cards are digital, cannot be used to buy other gift cards and are redeemed online only. Marketing texts are optional, and texting STOP ends them.

Getting out: cancellation, returns and refunds

An order locks quickly. The terms say orders are usually processed within 20 minutes, and after that nothing can be added, changed or held back from shipping. A buyer who changes their mind before delivery can, per the help page, send the unopened parcel back marked "Return to sender"; in October 2026 that route earns a credit for the product cost minus a 20% restocking fee and no credit for shipping. If the shop cannot ship within 30 days, the terms promise notice and a full refund.

Opened goods are final: for hygiene reasons nothing comes back once the seal or the shipping box has been opened, and the help page adds that toys and intimate apparel cannot be exchanged for a wrong choice. Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase, once the buyer has contacted the shop; the same restocking fee applies, original shipping is kept and return postage is on the buyer. An incorrect item sent by the shop is replaced, with a return authorization number needed within 60 days, and a defective item is reported within 30 days of receipt for a replacement under the maker's warranty. Customer service answers by phone and live chat on Pacific Time hours and by email around the clock, with replies promised within 24 hours, and the terms ask for an email first and 30 days to settle a dispute informally.

What the money buys and who it fits

The range covers toys sorted by use, lingerie for women and men in sizes the FAQ gives as SM to 3X/4X, lubricants, wellness products and gender-affirmation items such as binders and packers, alongside the chain's own Lovers Exclusives.

The markdown shelf suits a buyer who wants a tagged item at its printed sale price, and Afterglow suits someone who shops several times a year, since the sign-up points alone reach the first redemption step. It suits less well a shopper hoping to use a code on a big-name brand, since the promotions page excludes many of them, and anyone unsure of a choice, since opened items are final and an unopened return still costs the restocking fee and postage.
