A Dutch webshop with a permanent sale section

Erotic Discount is an online sex shop that sells toys, lingerie, fetish clothing and lubricants. The footer names the operator as Erotic-Discount / WWYM B.V. in Beuningen, the Netherlands, the About page also uses the trade name FlareFun, and the site offers Dutch, German and English with a currency selector. The store is not a membership or a subscription. You pay per order, so the offer worth knowing about is the sale section, which in October 2026 the menu labeled "MEGA SALE TOT -80%", a sale of up to 80% off. Around it sit a free shipping threshold, a promise of discreet bank statements and a withdrawal right.

Most of the pages are in Dutch. The site prints no coupon code, no first-order discount and no sign-up bonus, and the sale carries no end date; the newsletter box promises tips and offers without naming an amount. The sale section is a rolling list of several hundred products, each shown with an earlier price and the current price beside it.

The sale section and the shipping line

The sale list pairs an earlier price with a reduced one for every item, and each item carries a stock label (in stock, not in stock, or pre-order). The page does not say how long a reduction lasts or how items are chosen for the sale. Prices are stated in euros including VAT, subject to typing errors, corrections and price changes, in the shop's own wording.

In October 2026 the sale section listed, for example, a pair of stainless steel heart-shaped nipple clamps at €45,99 reduced to €22,-. The banner's 80% is a ceiling for the list as a whole: the page shows a price pair on each product rather than a percentage, so the cut on any one item is whatever its two prices show. The sale filters span bondage sets, dildos, plugs, harnesses and lingerie from house lines such as Kiotos alongside Pipedream, Satisfyer, Doc Johnson, Zalo and XR Brands.

Shipping is the second saving. As of October 2026 the header states free shipping on orders from €75,- in the Netherlands and Belgium, and the FAQ and the About page add Germany to that free zone. Below the threshold the FAQ charges €6.50 for delivery in the Netherlands; rates elsewhere are calculated at checkout from the address. The FAQ says the shop ships to any address worldwide, that orders inside the EU carry no import duties while orders outside it may, and that it aims to deliver within 1-3 working days with tracking through Sendcloud. Every parcel is packed discreetly, and the About page offers PostNL or UPS pickup points.

After the order: what the shop promises and what it limits

There is no trial and nothing renews, so this section is about the order itself. Any order can be canceled without giving a reason as long as it has not shipped; once it ships, the shop sends a shipping confirmation and the withdrawal right takes over. To cancel after the order confirmation, the shop asks the customer to reply to that confirmation, phone, or fill in the return or withdrawal form. The cancellation is confirmed by e-mail, and the paid amount is refunded within 14 days.

Hygiene rules cut into the withdrawal right. Goods may be inspected the way they would be in a store, but a product whose seal is broken or whose safety label is no longer intact cannot be returned. Condoms, lubricants, creams and every other item in the "Drogist" category can never be returned except when defective, and a defect has to be reported within 14 days of receipt. A reduced sale price does not change the rule.

The customer service menu also lists pages on statutory guarantee rights and on warranty and complaints, and gives no separate warranty term for sale items.

Billing

The text of the site does not name the payment provider or the wording that appears on a card or bank statement. Its claim is about discretion: the home page lists "Veilige bankafschriften, zonder directe verwijzing naar onze webshop" among the shop's advantages, bank statements with no direct reference to the webshop, and the header repeats "Discrete bankafschriften". The only payment method named in the text is iDEAL, in the refund clause, which says a credit on an order paid by iDEAL is paid straight back; the customer service menu links a "Betaalmethoden" (payment methods) page whose contents are not shown. The currency selector offers euro, pound, dollar and a long list of other currencies, while prices are stated in euros including VAT.

Getting out: withdrawal, returns and refunds

In the shop's own terms, a customer may send an article back within 14 days without giving a reason. Goods must go back no later than 14 days after the withdrawal is reported, ideally announced beforehand so the return is handled quickly, and they must still be sealed, in original condition and packaging, and complete. A model withdrawal form is offered, though using it is optional.

The refund follows the payment: the shop pays back with the same method the customer used, within 14 days of the withdrawal. The customer pays the return shipping, and when the whole order goes back the original shipping charge is refunded too. If a parcel comes back because it was not collected from a pickup point, the address was wrong or another fault lies with the customer, the shop refunds the total minus the shipping the customer paid. Customer service answers by phone on weekdays from 10.00 to 18.00, by WhatsApp and by e-mail.

The doll brand Tantaly carries its own policy on the same page. As of October 2026 its products can be returned within 14 days of receipt to a separate warehouse in Bremen, the customer pays the return shipping, the return must be confirmed with customer service first or it is not refunded, and 15% of the order amount is deducted as a restocking charge. Opened plastic packaging rules out a return unless the product is defective, a defective or wrong item must be reported within 90 days of delivery, and refunds are processed in 1-3 working days after inspection.

What the money buys, and who the offer suits

The shop sells dildos, vibrators, anal toys, BDSM and fetish items, toys for her and for him, an "Exxxtreme Toyz" range, a lubricant and care section, lingerie and clothing. Brand pages cover Tantaly torso dolls and the Kiotos Steel and Kiotos Leather lines, each showing its own price pairs.

The offer suits a shopper in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany who wants a marked-down item, can reach the free shipping line, and values an EU withdrawal right. It fits less well a buyer elsewhere, who pays a rate shown only at checkout and may owe import duties outside the EU, or anyone buying lubricant or care products, which go back only when defective. A Tantaly doll bought here also carries a restocking charge on return that the shop's own goods do not.
