What Dame is and what the saving is
Dame is a direct-to-consumer maker of vibrators and related sexual wellness products, selling through its own store under the name Dame Products. The about page says it was founded in 2014 by a sexologist and an MIT engineer, and the home page describes the range as medical-grade silicone toys, lubricant, personal care and accessories. The store is offered in English, German and Spanish.
Dame sells its products one order at a time, with no trial, no plan ladder for the toys and no join page. The money mechanics are a short list: a sale collection with a marked-down item, a pop-up promising a cart discount, a free-shipping threshold, a 60-day return window that pays out as store credit, a 3-year warranty, and gift cards. The saving on offer is modest, and the brand's pages say more about the terms around a purchase than about a headline price cut.
The price ladder and the sale collection
The durable shape is simple. Dame prices its toys as single items with no tiers: a bullet vibrator at the low end, then suction, palm, wand and wearable vibrators, with crystal dildos priced above the vibrators. Lubricant, massage oil, toy cleaner, a sex blanket and small accessories sit below them. The home page also advertises a 60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, and the returns page defines what that guarantee pays out, covered below.
In October 2026 the product grid listed the Eva Wearable Vibrator at $129, a regular price rather than a discount.
The sale collection is where the markdowns live, and in October 2026 it held very little. Most of its lines showed a single regular price with nothing struck through. One item carried a struck-through price: the Sleep Eye Mask and Blindfold at $5.60 against $8. A group of items labeled Warehouse Sale, covering Aer, Fin, Hug, Pom and Zee, all showed as sold out. No other line carried an earlier price, so the collection is not a discount across the range.
A pop-up on every page, as read in October 2026, says "It's Black Friday. Add products to your cart to reveal up to 60% off." It gives no date, code or list of included products, and no product page shows which items it applies to. The bundles page names The Crowd Pleaser Bundle in its heading but showed no products found, and the rewards page showed no program terms, so neither states a saving.
Shipping thresholds and what holds an order
Free shipping is the standing perk with real terms, and the store states two thresholds for it. As read in October 2026, the banner at the top of every page says free shipping on US orders of $100+, and the empty cart panel counts down to the same line. The FAQ says free shipping is available on orders over $150 shipped to the US, with no free international shipping, and that a discount which drops the order total below that line disqualifies the order. The store does not reconcile the two, so a buyer near either line should watch the cart total at checkout.
Some shipping rules affect what a basket costs in time. All items in an order ship together, except the Pillo, which ships separately because of its size. An out-of-stock item holds the whole order until it is back, because the store does not offer split shipments. Orders entered before 3pm ET Monday to Friday mostly ship the same day, and later orders mostly ship the next business day. The store does not ship on weekends or postal holidays. The FAQ also says Dame is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments and asks buyers to pick a secure delivery point; tracking is sent by email once the order ships. The package arrives in a plain brown box with a return address of Fulfillment Centers/DCL Logistics.
One cost note from the FAQ: every vibrator comes with a USB charging cable and a user manual, and wall adapters are not included with any product.
Returns, credit and the warranty
The return window is 60 days from receipt, but the remedy is narrow. The returns page says purchases made on the store may be returned for a website credit that never expires, and that physical returns are not accepted, so nothing is shipped back. Credit covers the price of the product and not original shipping. If a gift card paid for the order, the credit comes back as a gift card. A return starts by emailing customer service. One FAQ line says refunds are processed as a gift card for store credit, which agrees with the credit-only picture. The pages describe no refund to the original card.
Purchases from other retailers are covered by those retailers' policies, not Dame's. The warranty is separate: Dame warrants products against defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from the original purchase date, and defective products are covered with proof of purchase, wherever they were bought. Refunded purchases are not eligible for a warranty replacement. Damage from misuse, tampering, unreasonable use or unauthorized service is excluded, loss or damage to removable parts does not bring a replacement of the whole product, and the stated remedy is replacement or repair.
Billing, taxes and currency
The pages name the platform but not a payment processor. The privacy section says the store is hosted on Shopify and that card data is encrypted under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. No page names a billing descriptor, lists accepted payment methods or says what appears on a card statement, so a reader who cares about statement wording has to ask customer service first.
For Canada and for the UK, the FAQ read in October 2026 says orders go through Passport Shipping: Canadian shipments are duties paid, charged upfront, and Passport is the seller for UK orders of £135 and under. The terms say a payment currency can be chosen at checkout and that the price may vary with the currency selected. Dame accepts orders shipping to the US, Canada, UK, European Union, Australia and New Zealand, and describes the customs entry for vibrators as "Battery-Operated Massager."
Subscriptions and getting out
The FAQ has an accounts and subscriptions section even though the pages do not say which products can be bought on a schedule, nor at what price. The path it describes: log in, open the Manage Subscriptions tab, and click the Cancel link beside the active subscription. The same tab lets a member change billing information, skip a delivery, or edit the next payment date, the frequency and the quantity. Anyone who has ever bought from the store has an account waiting under the same email address, with order history and any subscription options.
The accessories page lists a gift card with 5 options. Mobile messaging is a separate opt-in, and texting STOP cancels it. The pages describe no customer-side way to cancel an ordinary order once it is placed, so a buyer who changes their mind after ordering is left with the 60-day credit route.
Who the offer suits
Dame suits a buyer who has chosen a specific toy and wants clear terms around it: a stated warranty, a long credit window and a shipping threshold. It fits less well a buyer looking for deep markdowns, since the sale collection held one struck-through price and the cart pop-up names no products or dates. It also fits poorly someone who wants cash back, because returns end in store credit, or someone who wants a card statement description in advance, because none is published. The brand makes its case on design and materials, and the money side is straightforward: pay the listed price, watch the free-shipping line, and keep proof of purchase for the warranty.
