What Condomania is and what the saving looks like

Condomania is an online shop for condoms, lubricants, sex toys, dental dams and accessories. Its home and about pages say it opened in 1991 as America's first condom store, with an original storefront in New York City, and that it is now entirely online. The pages name Raincoats, Inc. as the company behind it, with an address and main warehouse in Austin, Texas, and the about page claims over 1,000 products, which is the shop's own count.

Every order is a one-off purchase, so no plan renews and no trial turns into a charge. The saving comes from a Sale collection that shows a regular price beside a sale price, a separate Sex Toys on Sale collection, and free delivery above a stated order value. The header also advertises free gifts in checkout without saying what they are. Alongside the markdowns the shop publishes a plain note on what tends to be reduced and what is not, plus a short list of items it keeps cheap all the time rather than putting on sale.

The sale collections and what is reduced

The Sale page in October 2026 covered condoms, lubricants, soap, games and toys, with sex furniture, harnesses and condom cases among the accessories its own text lists. Each card prints a regular price, a sale price and, for products with variants, a from-price. In October 2026 a Durex Extra Sensitive Thin Close Fit condom pack was shown from $5.99 against a regular $12.99. The page says stock rotates as items go on and off sale, and that sale items are the same products sold at full price, with sale condoms carrying multi-year expiration dates.

Its FAQ answers the stacking question directly: sale prices are generally not combined with other discounts, because they already sit at the lowest discount tier, and promo codes and other discounts usually exclude sale items, with checkout as the place to confirm. If a sale price is missed, the FAQ says the item may go on sale again but there is no guarantee, and it points to restock and sale notifications on product pages.

The Sex Toys on Sale collection is a narrower page in the same style. Its text explains what usually goes on sale: overstock in a less popular color or variant, end-of-season clearances and discontinued runs, brand-driven promotions when makers such as LELO, Lovense or Satisfyer cut their own price, which the shop says it passes through, and occasional introductory prices on new lines.

The same text lists what almost never goes on sale: the Magic Wand Rechargeable, Sliquid H2O, the top condom samplers and current flagship products from LELO, Dame and B-Vibe. It warns that waiting for a sale on those might take a very long time. In place of a markdown it lists everyday-affordable picks, including Sliquid H2O at $10.99 as read in October 2026, a bullet vibrator, a dildo and single condoms. No sale on either page carries an end date, and the terms add that prices are subject to change without notice.

Free delivery, flat rates and the optional protection add-on

Delivery is the second standing saving. The shipping page in October 2026 offered free delivery within the United States on orders of $49 and above. Smaller US orders were charged a flat $6.99, Canada was a flat $24 on every order, and the rest of the world is estimated by weight. Orders typically go by USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail, the page claims 95% of orders leave the same day or the next, and shipping estimates exclude weekends and US holidays. International orders are handled case by case, the shop reserves the right to charge more for heavy or bulky parcels, and import duties, taxes and brokerage fees fall on the customer.

At checkout the cart carries an optional add-on called Route Package Protection, which covers an order that is lost, stolen or damaged in transit. The shipping page says buyers may opt in and out of it in the cart, and it prints no price for it. When Route refunds an item it covers the subtotal, shipping and taxes but not the Route premium itself; a reorder is shipped at Route's cost. Claims are reviewed within 1-2 business days of filing, with set windows: a parcel marked delivered but missing is reviewed between 5 and 15 calendar days after delivery, a damaged parcel needs photos and a claim within 15 days, and the longest filing window is 365 days from the order date. The page does not say whether the add-on starts ticked.

After the order: exceptions and address rules

Three restrictions can change the total or the timing. The terms let the shop refuse any order and limit or cancel quantities per person, household or order. Items containing benzocaine or lidocaine are not sold to customers in Canada, the UK or Japan. And once an order is placed, the shop says it may not be able to change the delivery address and is not responsible for items shipped to a wrong one. PayPal and Apple Pay fill in the address automatically, so the page asks buyers to keep the address stored there current.

Billing and statement name

The shipping page states that the name Raincoats Inc will appear on the credit card statement, and the about page prints it as Raincoats, Inc. Parcels go out in nondescript envelopes or boxes with no Condomania name on the outside, and the return address label also reads Raincoats Inc. The shipping page refers to PayPal and Apple Pay, and the shop's pages otherwise speak of credit cards without naming a processor or the card brands accepted.

Returns, refunds and canceling an order

The refund policy is strict. All sales are final and returns are not accepted because of the intimate nature of the products. The exceptions are items that are incorrect, damaged or defective, which the shop replaces or refunds through the original payment method, provided the customer reports the problem within 2 days of receipt. Wholesale orders accept no returns at all. The Sale page FAQ reads differently, saying unopened, sealed sex toys and condoms can be returned under the standard policy and that opened toys cannot; the refund policy itself is the stricter text.

Canceling has its own rule. A customer who wants to cancel should say so as soon as possible, and the policy says an order that has not shipped can usually be canceled. The refund comes as a gift card for the amount; a refund to the card for a canceled order is given only when the cancellation is the shop's fault. Problems go to the shop by text message, email or website chat, and the policy says replies usually come within a few hours.

What the money buys, and who the offer suits

The catalog leads with condoms in many sizes, materials and brands, then lubricants by base, then toys including vibrators, strokers, cock rings, dildos and anal toys, along with dental dams, sex furniture and toy cleaner. A wholesale page offers bulk condom orders for clinics, health departments and retailers, with net-30 terms for qualifying organizations, as a separate route from the consumer shop.

The offer suits someone replenishing condoms or lube who can reach the free delivery level, or a buyer who wants a less popular color or an outgoing toy at a marked-down price. It suits less well a buyer who wants to return an unopened item under a clear rule, or one who would want a canceled order refunded to the card rather than as store credit. Flagship toys rarely appear in the sale lists, as the shop itself says.
