Scandals

What Scandals is and what the offer is

Scandals is an independent UK adult retailer that sells sex toys, lingerie and intimate essentials online and from 3 stores in Liverpool City Centre, Bootle and Birkenhead. The home page calls it "Woman-founded and proudly independent", carries the line "Pioneering Pleasure Since 2001", and lists FLOWERS Awards wins as Business of the Year 2024 and Employer of the Year 2025. It describes itself as "the UK's premier destination for luxurious lingerie and safe, affordable adult products", which is the shop's own claim.

Buying here is a one-off order with nothing to join and nothing that renews. The savings are 2 mix and match multi-buys on selected lines, a clearance range, a discount on a first order for joining the email list, and a loyalty scheme that pays back part of each purchase as points.

The multi-buy offers

The 2 multi-buys lead the home page. The first is a 3 for 2 "across the store": "Mix and match eligible toys and lingerie. Add any 3 and the cheapest is free." The block adds "Selected lines • While stock lasts" and "while the offer lasts", and the small print reads "Eligible products only. Add three qualifying items to your basket; the cheapest eligible item is free." Each qualifying product carries the tag "Included in the 3 for 2 offer", and the page shows a few of them with a link to the rest of the products in the deal.

The second is buy 1, get 1 half price, under a "Limited Time Offers" heading. In October 2026 the terms read: "Add two eligible items to your basket and the lowest-priced eligible item will be reduced by 50% while the promotion is active." It runs in 4 groups, women's toys, men's toys, lingerie and menswear, and lubricants and essentials, each with its own list of eligible items. Neither multi-buy prints an end date beyond "while the promotion is active" or "while stock lasts", and neither says whether the 2 can apply in one basket.

The tags mark eligibility, not a markdown. Some tagged products also show an earlier price beside the current one, and others show a single price. As listed in October 2026, a Me You Us Signature Contour silicone bullet vibrator is priced £9.16 against £14.99, and the page prints its own saving beside it, "Save £5.83 · 38%"; a Scandals RABBIT X remote cock ring and an app-controlled love egg carry the same kind of pair, while a strap-on harness kit with 2 silicone dildos is tagged for the 3 for 2 at a single price.

Clearance, sale menus and the first-order discount

Clearance is a separate range. In October 2026 the home page heads it "Up to 80% off Clearance", describes "104 reduced-price products" across toys, lingerie and intimate essentials, and warns that "Clearance availability is limited, so popular products and sizes may not return once sold out." The "All Sale & Offers" collection lists 477 products. The sale menus also group items by price bands for lingerie, vibrating toys and anal toys, and a queen size lingerie sale is headed "Up to 90% OFF".

For new customers, the "Scandals private list" box reads "Save 15% off your first order." as of October 2026, and the footer sign-up promises a "free gift or voucher" with "private offers, launches and member-only perks". A separate banner promises a free sex chocolate when the basket reaches the free delivery spend. The sign-up line sets no minimum order and no expiry, and no code is printed on the page.

Loyalty points and delivery

The loyalty scheme gives "5% back in loyalty points on eligible purchases" in October 2026, and each product tile shows the points it would earn in pounds, so a buyer sees the return before adding an item. The footer links a Loyalty Scheme page for the redemption rules.

Delivery runs on the same threshold as the free gift. In October 2026 the home page offers "Free discreet UK delivery" over £30, and the basket note reads "Free standard UK delivery is available when your basket reaches £30.00." The shop also ships worldwide, and its country selector prices every destination in pounds. The page says most stock is held by the shop itself, so most orders are "packed and dispatched directly from our local team" rather than drop-shipped.

Billing

The home page lists "Secure checkout & Flexible payments" and "0% interest finance options" among its service points, and promises plain, discreet packaging. Prices are in pounds sterling for every country. The page does not name a payment processor, the cards or wallets accepted, the finance provider or the line that appears on a card statement.

Getting out

There is nothing to cancel, so the exit is a return. The home page lists "Hassle-free returns" among its service points and links a Returns & Refunds page, a Refund policy, a Shipping policy, Terms of Service and a Delivery Options, Times and Charges page from the footer. The return window and the handling of multi-buy baskets, where one item was free or half price, are set out on those pages rather than on the home page. The email list can be left at any time: the sign-up box says "No spam, and you can unsubscribe at any time."

What the money buys, and who the offer suits

The shop claims "over 6,000 carefully selected products" from brands it names as LELO, Satisfyer and Fleshlight, among others, and its own lines include Scandals Collection toys and Scandals Bondage. The menus cover women's and men's toys, couples' and app-controlled toys, anal toys, dildos, sex machines and furniture, lingerie in standard and queen sizes, bondage and fetishwear, latex clothing, menswear, lubricants and gifts. The home page also promises a price match guarantee and states that 1% of online sales goes to charity. Its review widget shows 4.87 stars from 502 reviews, and the footer rounds it to 4.9 out of 5, both the shop's own figures.

The offers suit a buyer filling a basket with 2 or 3 tagged items, because one of them is then free or half price, and a first-time customer who will join the email list. They suit a regular who will collect loyalty points, and a shopper near Liverpool, Bootle or the Wirral who can use the stores. A buyer who wants a dated sale, or the stacking rule for the 2 multi-buys, will not find either on the home page, and a buyer outside the UK pays in pounds with no free delivery line.
