What Hot Octopuss is and what the offer is
Hot Octopuss sells its own sex tech directly from the official site. The terms of service say the brand and products are owned by Hot Octopuss Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 07556613, with the website operated on its behalf by Totalcom Limited. The range centers on the PULSE line of vibrating masturbators and couples toys, plus JETT, ATOM PLUS and ATOM cock rings, a PULSE QUEEN clitoral wand, lubes and accessories, with a Wellness & Supportive Solutions collection that gathers several of these toys and the brand's two discounted sets.
The pages describe a shop, not a membership, with no trial period, auto-renewal or recurring charge. The saving comes from discounted multi-product sets in the wellness collection, occasional public sales, mailing list sales and a free shipping level, and the money questions that matter are about returns, because the brand's return rules split into several routes with different time limits.
Prices and the discounted sets
There is no plan ladder, so the comparison is between a single toy and the sets built from several toys. Single toys in the collection carry one regular price each, with no markdown. In October 2026 two sets carry a "10% off" label: a His and Hers set, The Amplified Intimacy Bundle, and a Best Seller set, the latter shown at a sale price of £179.99 against a regular £199.99. Both sets show low or very low stock counts, and a JETT TURBO is marked sold out.
The pages do not say how long these markdowns run. The wider rule on discounts is on the FAQ page, where the brand says it does not offer discount codes outside its planned sales, that public sales happen very occasionally, such as on Black Friday and Valentine's Day, and that sales to the mailing list happen more regularly. The FAQ describes those as "regular exclusive sales and discounts to our database", reached by joining the mailing list. The footer sign-up reads "Sign up for exclusive offers, original stories, events and more", but states no sign-up discount and no first-order code.
Shipping and the free threshold
Shipping is priced by country and the free level is stated in the page header. In October 2026 the header read free shipping on all orders over £125 on the UK pages, and over €125 on the euro-priced pages. The shipping page lists UK Royal Mail Standard at £7.00 for 3-5 days, with express options and separate rates for the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The US express line is marked as not eligible for free shipping.
The shipping page adds several limits that affect cost. Orders outside the United States, EU, United Kingdom and Australia may attract import duties and taxes that the listed prices do not include. Refunds for items returned for non-payment of customs charges carry an admin fee. For United States customers, as of October 2026, undelivered parcels and 14 day returns are subject to a $10 returns fee, which is removed from the refund. The brand aims to ship within 2 working days. A banner reads "No more customs fees on EU orders" with an asterisk that no page explains.
After the purchase: returns, exchanges and warranty
Because nothing renews, the useful distinction is between four different routes, each with its own limit.
The first is a refund return. The returns page says the brand can only accept returns for a refund on unopened and unused items within 14 days, and that the customer should contact support to arrange it. Refunds do not include shipping charges, and only the returned items are refunded. Lubes, sprays and serums cannot be returned under any circumstances.
The second is the satisfaction route, which the site brands as its Sexual Satisfaction Policy. A buyer who bought directly from the brand and finds a toy incompatible can open a case within 45 days of receiving it. The brand first offers advice and, failing that, an exchange for another toy, once the original item is returned by a tracked service. An exchanged item is not eligible for a second satisfaction claim, final decisions rest with customer service, and exchanges and returns are not accepted on lubricants and gels. Products in the HO Loves collection are outside these policies.
The third is the warranty. Products carry a one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in workmanship. An itemized, dated proof of purchase is essential, only items sold by authorized Hot Octopuss retailers are covered, and on Amazon the brand must be the seller. Where a toy was bought at a highly reduced price, or from a retailer the brand has not sold to for more than a year, warranty needs a clear chain of purchase. Claims end in a working replacement of the same model or an equal alternative, not a refund, and a returned item must carry the brand's return authorization (RA) form or it is disposed of.
The fourth is the legal right to cancel before dispatch. The terms say a customer can cancel before the product has been dispatched by letting the brand know, and that no contract exists until a dispatch confirmation email is sent.
Billing
The FAQ page gives the one billing detail the pages publish: the payment shows on a bank or card statement as "HO London". The same page says all major credit cards are accepted except American Express. The pages do not name a payment processor or state whether taxes are added at checkout beyond the customs notes above. The header also promises "Discreet service, from statement to delivery", and the shipping answer says items are dispatched in plain boxes with no markings that show the contents.
Getting out and getting help
The contact route is email to the brand's customer support address, and the returns terms say customer service enquiries are dealt with within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm GMT. If a parcel has not arrived within 2 weeks the shipping page asks the customer to report it, because the brand has a limited window for tracking and resending. If a box arrives damaged, opened or missing contents, the page asks for a photograph and, if the customer is home, a note on the delivery and a refusal of the package. The brand does not take liability for parcels stolen from unsecured delivery points, and says that a replacement sent for an order shown as delivered cannot itself be refunded.
What the money buys, and who the offer suits
The money buys the brand's own hardware: the PULSE range uses a PulsePlate, JETT is a hands-free masturbator with two motors, and the ATOM cock rings are vibrating rings for solo or couples use. The brand also presents toys for women and couples, bondage items and a lube range. For a UK buyer paying in pounds, the practical offer is a set priced below its parts, a satisfaction route that can end in an exchange, and a free shipping level that depends on the basket.
It suits a UK buyer ready to spend enough to clear the shipping level, someone who values a written exchange route if the first toy turns out to be the wrong fit, and a shopper who will wait for a planned sale. It suits less well a buyer who wants a refund after the first 14 days, a US buyer who may face the returns fee described above, or anyone expecting a code, since the brand says it does not issue them outside planned sales.
