What REGULATION is and what the offer is

REGULATION is a gay and queer fetish shop from London that sells online and from a shop in Soho. Its own site description calls it "The UK's destination gay & queer fetish/kink shop", and its store profile says it was established in 1991 and makes latex and leather clothing, bondage equipment and kink products in its own London workshop. The home page describes the range as gay sex toys and men's fetish clothing from kink brands "including our own": restraints, masks and gags from Fetters, silicone toys from Topped Toys, fantasy dildos from Bad Dragon, lubricants and club wear. Its older address, regulation.co.uk, now forwards to regulation.store, the same shop.

The savings come in four forms. An outlet sale is advertised in the strip at the top of every page. A Special Offers collection lists marked-down items with a sale price beside a regular price. Students get a discount code each time they verify their status. And a free rewards account earns points on purchases. Buying is a one-off order with no fee to join and nothing that renews.

The outlet sale and the Special Offers collection

As read in October 2026, the top strip says "Save up to 70% in our Outlet Collection", and the Sale menu lists an "Outlet Sale - Up to 70% Off". Neither line carries a closing date. The same strip says "Taxes & duties now included at checkout", which describes how the price is charged rather than a discount.

The Special Offers collection, which reports 61 results, is where the markdowns are spelled out. Every listing carries a "Sale price" and a "Regular price" with a badge, most of them worded "Up to" a percentage. In October 2026 a Barcode Berlin shoulder harness shows a sale price of CHF 12.00 against a regular price of CHF 38.00, badged up to 68% off, and a REGULATION branded cotton T-shirt carries the deepest badge on the first page at up to 70% off. Several Oxballs lines print their sale price as "From" a figure, so the price depends on the option chosen. The shop's own REGULATION Calendar 2026 is badged 43% off.

The mix shapes what the discount buys. The collection's category filter puts most of the marked-down lines under cotton and textile clothing, with smaller groups of ass toys, cock toys, a pain and punishment item and a fetish gift, and its brand filter names Twink X, Barcode Berlin, Breedwell, Oxballs, Mr. Riegillio, Bad Dragon, Hot Octopuss, Mystim and the shop's own line. Oxballs cock rings and slings appear among the reduced toys. Several sale items are marked "Very low stock", and the availability filter lists out-of-stock lines beside in-stock ones, so part of the outlet has already sold through and a size can be gone.

The student discount

A separate Student Discount page offers "Discounts on men's sex toys, fetish wear and kink products" to students. Each time a student verifies their status, the page says, they receive a 24-hour discount code for regular online checkout, and the check, which "takes a few seconds", has to be repeated for each code. Verification works with a college or university email address or the institution's portal login, against what the page calls a database of over 10,000 institutions across 204 countries. In the London Store a student shows a date-marked student ID at the sales counter instead, because the online check covers online orders only. The page adds that student purchases still earn loyalty points, which can be redeemed for products and discounts from a logged-in member account. If the verification email does not arrive, the page suggests checking the spelling of the address and the spam folder.

The student page gives no percentage or amount for the code, and it does not say whether a student code can be used on outlet prices. Because each code lasts a single day, a student planning a larger order verifies just before paying.

Rewards and other perks

The home page invites shoppers to "Join REGULATION Rewards": joining is free and brings "exclusive member-only perks" as members earn loyalty rewards. The footer repeats "Member rewards Earn points on purchases" and links a "Get Member Perks" page, and the Gifts menu has a Member Collection. The pages print no points rate, redemption threshold or expiry. Gift Cards are sold alongside, and customers who share unboxing photos on the shop's social feeds are entered into prize draws, a chance rather than a set saving. The email list promises "exclusive offers" without naming a discount.

Because the shop makes much of its own gear, part of the range is priced per order rather than off the shelf. The clothing menu has a Catsuit Designer, Customisable Rubber Clothing, and Express Rubber Clothing and Express Leather Clothing lines, and the shop runs a Made to Measure service with its own Workshop Order Tracking page for custom pieces. The Gifts menu also carries a 35th Birthday Collection beside the Member Collection. The outlet's category filter lists no custom or made-to-measure line, so the markdowns sit on ready-made stock.

Billing and currency

There is no trial, plan or recurring charge, so nothing rebills. The Country/Region selector sets the currency, and the pages read in October 2026 were set to Switzerland and printed every price in CHF, with English, French and German offered as languages. Taxes and duties are included at checkout. The footer carries a "Payment methods accepted" slot with no names in its text, and the pages name no payment processor or billing descriptor.

Returns and getting out

The footer links a Refund Policy, Shipping & Returns, Terms of Service, a "Returns & exchanges" guide and an order status page, and the home page does not reproduce any of them. The refund window and the return rules for sale items are therefore on those pages rather than the ones that carry the offers. A buyer taking an outlet item marked "Very low stock" in a size they are unsure of has reason to open the returns guide before paying.

What the money buys and who the offer suits

The catalog runs from dildos, butt plugs and premium silicone toys to cock toys, prostate toys, inflatable and vibrating toys, sex machines and electro powerboxes, then lubricants, douching products and condoms, rubber and leather clothing, sportswear, underwear, hoods, bondage gear, playspace furniture and printed zines. Brands in the menu include Bad Dragon, Oxballs, Breedwell, Fetters, Topped Toys, Mister B, Fleshjack, ElectraStim and ID Lubricants, alongside REGULATION's own lines. A partner poppers shop sits in the footer.

The outlet suits a buyer who wants clothing, harnesses or Oxballs toys at a marked-down price and can take whatever size is still in stock. The student code suits a verified student who will check in just before an order. The offer suits less someone shopping for a specific toy, because the outlet leans toward clothing, or a buyer who wants to see the student percentage before verifying, because the page does not print it.
