What it is and what the offer is
Lovedo is a UK online adult shop selling vibrators, dildos, anal and couples' toys, bondage kits, lubricants, condoms, lingerie, games and gifts. Its own pages describe it as couple-run and UK-based, and the terms say the website is operated by Lovedo, a UK-based retailer of adult products, for customers aged 18 and over. It delivers within the United Kingdom only.
The saving on offer is a single first-order discount. In October 2026 the newsletter box in the page footer reads "A little thank you for joining us. Get 10% off your first order." Beyond that there is a free-delivery line, digital gift cards and a Special Offers page. The pages describe no membership, trial or recurring charge; every purchase is an order placed through the basket. The sections below cover how the first-order code works, what the pages leave out about it, and the delivery, billing and return rules that sit around it.
The first-order code and how it combines with sale prices
In October 2026 the sign-up offer is 10% off the first order, stated in the newsletter panel in the footer with a subscribe button and a privacy-policy consent box. The panel does not say whether the code arrives by email at once, whether there is a minimum spend, or when the code expires. The terms add that promo codes may carry specific terms, including expiry dates, and cannot be combined with other offers unless that is stated.
The pages are not fully consistent on how a code behaves against a reduced product. The terms state that if a product is already discounted, for example in a sale or on special offer, a promo code applies to the product's original RRP and not the reduced price, unless otherwise stated. The FAQ describes it differently: the checkout "will always apply the best available price", so a coupon never costs more, a code that beats the sale price applies, and a product discounted by more than the code keeps its sale price. The code goes into the "Use Coupon Code" field on the basket page, which sits in the right-hand sidebar on desktop and below the product list on mobile.
The Special Offers page is the other place a saving would live. As read in October 2026 it carries the heading "Special Offers on Sex Toys in the UK", says stock changes regularly, and then states "There are no special offer products to list." The menu also has a Best Sellers entry. The standing deal is therefore the first-order code plus the delivery line, not a rotating sale.
Delivery thresholds
In October 2026 the terms and the FAQ give free standard delivery on UK mainland orders (England, Wales and Scotland mainland) over £59.99, sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 with a 2-3 working day window once dispatched. Orders under that line pay a delivery charge that depends on the method picked at checkout and is shown before payment. For the Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland the FAQ describes discounted delivery up to £119.99 and free delivery above that figure, with the correct zone applied from the postcode.
Gift cards and promo code terms
Lovedo sells digital gift cards that are redeemed at checkout. The terms give them 12 months of validity from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated, and add that an unused card nearing expiry can be raised with the shop, which may be able to extend it. Lost or stolen codes cannot be replaced. A gift card is not a discount, but it is the one stored-value product on the pages, and the 12-month limit is the term to watch.
Billing
The FAQ says the checkout is PayPal-powered and accepts all major payment methods, and that a PayPal account is not required to pay. The terms of sale say payment is made in full at the time of order by debit or credit card or PayPal, and that card details are not stored on the shop's own systems. The footer shows Visa, Mastercard, Amex and PayPal marks. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
On statement wording the FAQ is specific: purchases show as "LD Online" rather than the shop name. That is the descriptor a buyer would look for on a bank or card statement. The terms add that the shop may correct price errors without notice, which is worth knowing when a basket total looks unusually low.
Getting out: canceling an order and returns
For cancellations the terms of sale say to contact the shop within 1 hour of purchase, because processing and dispatch are fast and changes cannot be guaranteed after that. The FAQ is looser, saying an order can be canceled or changed if it has not shipped yet and asking for contact as soon as possible. The two statements differ, and the terms of sale are the ones that set the 1-hour line.
Returns are tied to hygiene. In October 2026 the terms and the returns page set these rules. The shop accepts returns of unused, unopened items in original sealed packaging within 30 days, and returns must be authorized by contacting support before anything is sent. Opened items are non-refundable unless faulty. The returns page adds that change-of-mind returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and that a 25% restocking and administration fee applies to returns made for change of mind or customer error, provided the goods come back unused and in original condition. Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 36 hours of delivery. Faulty items should be reported within 30 days of purchase, a Freepost address can be arranged for UK faulty returns, and every product carries a one-year warranty: a fault in the first 3 months gets a refund or replacement, and after that replacements follow the manufacturer's warranty. Lingerie and clothing are non-refundable unless faulty.
On refund timing, the FAQ says refunds are processed within 3-5 working days once the return is received and inspected.
What the money buys and who it suits
The catalog covers toys for her, for him and for couples, anal play, bondage, lubes and care, condoms, games and novelties, and lingerie, with brand pages for names such as Satisfyer, Lelo, Lovense, Unihorn, Fun Factory and PipeDream. Orders go out in plain, unbranded packaging with discreet billing, and support answers by form, email, phone and chat, with a stated aim of replying within 24 hours.
The offer suits a first-time customer who wants a percentage off a single basket and who is happy to spend above the free-delivery line. It also suits someone who values a named statement descriptor. It suits less well a repeat buyer looking for rotating sales, since the Special Offers page listed no products in October 2026, and it does not suit a buyer outside the UK or one who might change their mind on an opened product. Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% fee, and the stated window is short.
