What Pleasure Chest is and what the saving looks like

Pleasure Chest calls itself an "Adult Store Since 1979" and says it has been a fixture of George Street in Haymarket, Sydney, ever since, 100% Australian owned and operated. Beside the shop at 705 George Street it runs an online store that ships from its warehouse, with click and collect in the Sydney CBD and a same-day delivery option. The range covers vibrators, male toys, dildos and strap-ons, anal toys, bondage gear, lingerie and lubricants. It sells product by product, with no trial and no monthly plan.

The saving has a clear lead: a standing sale collection in which every card shows a "Now" price beside a "Was" price, with the shop promising new markdowns every day. Around it sit a percentage discount for joining the shop's "Friends With Benefits" list, a points-based rewards club, a free shipping line, and Afterpay for buyers who want to spread the cost.

The sale collection in detail

The sale page, read in October 2026, opens with "Enjoy discounts of up to 70% off" on its products, "with fresh markdowns rolling in daily". The ceiling is the shop's own figure; the cards show the actual cut on each item. A Blush Dr Skin posable dildo is listed "Now $29.00" against "Was $39.00", while a 21-inch Platinum Liquid Silicone stretcher trainer is "Now $179.00" against "Was $399.00", so the reductions run from modest on everyday items to steep on the large premium pieces.

The collection is big. Its filter reports 346 products across 13 pages, sortable by price, sales, name or date. The brand filter shows where the markdowns concentrate: Shots Toys carries by far the most marked-down lines, followed by the Platinum Silicone Series, Excellent Power, Cut 4 Men and LA Fantasy, with smaller runs from Blush, Oxballs, Rosebuds, Lovetoy and a few others including Kiiroo and Le Wand. By product type, butt plugs, dildos, lingerie and men's underwear are the deepest pools, and there are smaller groups of G-spot and rabbit vibrators, penis pumps, bondage kits and masturbators. Filters for material (silicone, stainless steel, glass, European crystal), size, length and diameter let a shopper narrow the 346 lines quickly, and a "Phthalates Free" filter picks out the lines the shop lists as free of phthalates.

The lingerie lines show how steep the cuts go on clothing: several LA Fantasy bodystockings and chemises sit on the first page at the same low sale price, each against the same higher "Was" price. Waterproof bed sheets from Sheets of San Francisco and a gift-boxed men's toy set from Winyi are also on the first page of markdowns.

The sale page sets no end date for the collection or any item, no stock cap and no minimum spend. Its own wording, "fresh markdowns rolling in daily", describes a rolling clearance rather than a single event.

The join discount and the rewards club

The footer of both pages carries a "Friends With Benefits" block: "Get 15% Off When You Join", with a "Join Now" button, as read in October 2026. It is the shop's sign-up offer, worded as a percentage off for joining. The block does not tie it to a first order or exclude sale items in so many words, so whether it stacks on a "Now" price is a question for the sign-up step.

The home page separately invites visitors to "JOIN OUR REWARDS PROGRAM": members "earn points and exclusive rewards every time you shop", and the cart carries a "Pleasure Rewards" link. The home page gives the club's name and its pitch; its earn rate and point value sit on the Rewards page in the footer.

Price promise, gift and shipping

The home page leads with "DISRUPTING PRICES, delighting customers" and a "Best Price Guarantee", with full terms on its own page. Some cards in the sale page's "You may also like" strip carry a "Best Price" badge beside a Now and Was pair, and one card there, a Womanizer Snap accessory pouch, is marked "Gift With Purchase" at a sale price of nothing.

Shipping is plainly stated. As of October 2026 both pages promise free shipping on orders over $100, and the sale page calls it "free discreet shipping on all orders over $100". Orders arrive "in plain packaging with a discreet return address", and the shop says only its own team knows the contents. The footer has separate pages for discreet shipping, same-day delivery, international shipping and New Zealand shipping, so delivery is not limited to Australia.

After the purchase: Afterpay, not renewals

Nothing renews at Pleasure Chest, since nothing is a subscription. The one arrangement that runs on after checkout is Afterpay, which the sale page describes as a way to "shop now and pay later in four easy installments"; the shop also calls it one of its "convenient payment options". The four-part split is the shop's own figure; late fees and spending limits belong to the Afterpay terms. No add-on is pre-selected and no membership is sold at checkout.

Billing

Checkout totals are shown in dollars, and the cart says shipping, taxes and discount codes are worked out at the payment step. Afterpay is the only payment option the pages name, and no card processor or statement name is printed. The shop's privacy promises cover the parcel and its return address rather than the card statement.

Returns and getting help

Each order is a single purchase, so leaving means a return, not a cancellation. The return rule and the treatment of sale items sit in the "Products Services Terms & Conditions" and FAQ pages linked from the footer. For help before or after an order, the shop prints its George Street address, a phone number and a shop email, and its "helpful team of specialists" is in the store for anyone who can visit or use click and collect.

What the money buys and who the offer suits

The shop says it stocks "over 4,000 high-end adult products", its own claim, and its home page calls it one of the most popular sex toy retailers in Australia. The main menu groups bondage, male masturbators, vibrators, an anal collection, strap-on dildos, lubricants, dildos and lingerie.

The offer suits a shopper who starts in the sale collection and is happy to buy whatever premium silicone, glass or lingerie line is marked down that week, and someone in Sydney who can collect in person. The free shipping line suits one larger order, and Afterpay suits a buyer splitting a big piece into four payments. It suits less well a buyer who wants a mainstream vibrator brand at a reduction, since most markdowns are on toy-maker lines such as Shots and Platinum Silicone, or one who wants the return rule and the rewards rate in front of them before buying.
