What ZENRA is and what the offer is

ZENRA sells licensed Japanese adult movies, which it calls JAV, with English subtitles that its about page says are made entirely by bilingual humans rather than by machine. The terms list four ways to spend money there: recurring subscriptions, one-time subscriptions, wallet top-ups and pay-per-view movie purchases, and nearly every update can be bought on its own as well as watched on a plan. The standing offer is a banner at the top of every page reading "30% OFF FIRST PURCHASE", joined by a wallet bonus program that pays a small credit back into the site wallet after each movie bought. Video pages add a subscription line marked "with wallet match bonus". In October 2026 the sales page itself reads "Sorry, there are no active sales at the moment", so these standing items are the savings on offer.

The plan ladder and the offer in detail

The subscription ladder is set out in words in the terms. As of October 2026 a monthly subscription is $39.95 and rebills until canceled, a cheaper monthly streaming-only plan is $29.95 and also recurs, and 3-month subscriptions cost $99 in the recurring version and $109 in the non-recurring one. Gift card and eVoucher subscriptions run at similar rates with small differences by card type and never recur. The same clause adds that periodic sales may cut these rates "by various percentage points".

The store is the second ladder. The PPV FAQ, read in October 2026, sets most movies at $7.95 to stream and $12.95 to download, a price that includes streaming, per update, with no surcharge for newer or larger releases. Streaming is sold as a flat fee for "lifetime" access, subject to a movie being removed, and download links stay available indefinitely on the same condition. A purchase is a single charge with no rebill, and bought movies carry none of the daily data limit that applies to subscriptions.

The wallet bonus is the clearest mechanism. Since the fall of 2025, according to the PPV FAQ as read in October 2026, each movie bought triggers an email with a redemption link that adds $1 in bonus funds to the wallet, and larger cart orders or larger wallet top-ups redeem more, with the FAQ giving worked examples of its own. The terms add three limits: the email is not sent when a purchase is paid from existing wallet funds, the link is time-limited, and bonus funds are given at the company's sole discretion. Video pages show a subscription price struck through beside a lower one with an asterisk reading "with wallet match bonus"; the pages do not explain that match beyond the bonus program.

The first-purchase banner is described only by its headline: no code, minimum spend, product list or expiry appears with it. The register page lists the use of "big discount promo codes (PPV only)" among the reasons to open a free account, but prints no code.

After the first purchase: renewal, limits and VIP access

Recurring subscriptions renew on their own until canceled; the non-recurring 3-month plan and every gift card or eVoucher plan stop at the end of their term. There is no free or paid trial, so no first price turns into a higher one, and the terms give each plan one price rather than a separate renewal rate.

Every subscriber can stream and download up to 10 GB a day, counted on Japan Standard Time, which the FAQ equates to 4-5 hours of full HD video. Members who keep reaching that cap, or come just under it, may face extra restrictions on current and future subscriptions, according to the terms.

Plan length also decides downloads. Movies marked "Exclusive" can be downloaded only by VIP members. The terms offer the VIP upgrade at no extra cost, on request, to subscribers in good standing who are on a 90-day plan or have been monthly subscribers for 3 or more consecutive months; others can stream those movies but not download them, and streaming-only subscribers stream everything. Active subscribers also get unrestricted access to the site's blog, which is metered for everyone else, and any purchase, including a wallet top-up, opens it for 30 days.

Billing

Every page footer sends billing support to "our authorized payment processors: NetBilling, Epoch, CCBill, PayGarden, and LuxFinTech", and no page says which of them a given payment will use or what text will appear on a statement. The purchase form shows Visa, Discover, Mastercard and Union Pay, bank transfer, Paysafecard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and crypto, and the FAQ adds alternative local methods and gift card trade-in. Payments are processed in US dollars, and the terms say prices may differ slightly with local exchange rates. A video on a wallet-only sale warns at checkout that paying any other way is charged at the regular price. The FAQ also explains that a declined sign-up can leave a temporary pending charge, which disappears because the site makes no second attempt.

Getting out and refunds

Every page carries a "Cancel" link in its menu, and the terms send refund requests to support. Refunds are discretionary and time-limited: subscription orders, 30-day or 90-day, recurring or not, may be refunded case by case if no more than 30 calendar days have passed since the first purchase. A movie bought by accident through pay-per-view may be refunded on the same basis if it was never accessed, and unused wallet funds can be refunded when the top-up used a refundable billing method. Subscriptions paid by gift card trade-in, cryptocurrency or eVoucher cannot be refunded for any reason. The terms also state that sharing a login or distributing downloads ends the account without a refund.

What the money buys, and who it suits

The catalog is full-length Japanese studio movies with English subtitles that, by the brand's account, include every on-screen caption. The about page promises three updates a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and a new movie goes live for subscribers and pay-per-view buyers at the same moment. The category menu runs from amateur, massage and group to hotwife and lesbian scenes, alongside an index of the studios it licenses from, and all downloads are DRM-free.

On the October 2026 prices, the store and the wallet bonus suit a buyer who wants a handful of titles, which the PPV FAQ itself names as the case for buying by the movie, along with buyers on a budget and anyone testing the site before subscribing. The recurring monthly plan suits a regular viewer who can live with the 10 GB daily cap, and the 3-month plan is the one the terms tie to the free VIP upgrade for downloading Exclusive movies. It suits less well anyone counting on a refund after 30 days, anyone paying with crypto or gift cards and so giving up refunds altogether, or anyone who wants the first-purchase discount spelled out before buying.
