What mywifu is and what the offer is
mywifu is an AI companion app for adults. Members pick a ready-made fictional companion or design one, then chat, take voice calls and ask for photos and short videos. The money model is a prepaid membership with a credit allowance, not a recurring subscription. The standing offer is a lifetime membership: one payment, no automatic renewal, and a block of credits that the page says never expire. Before any payment, an account gets three free preview photos of a companion, so the product can be seen first. The pages do not name the company behind the service; the terms refer only to "the operator of mywifu", which leaves the reader without a legal name or country to look up.
The plan ladder and the lifetime plan
The premium page has four tabs in words: Monthly, Quarterly, Annual and Lifetime. Under the page's heading it states "Secure checkout", "One payment" and "No auto-renewal". Only the Lifetime tab is spelled out on that page, and the figures for the three shorter terms come from a comparison guide on the same site, which lays out the whole ladder in one sentence.
In October 2026 the lifetime tab reads "Lifetime, 24,000 credits included, $197.00 lifetime access" and adds that the included credits never expire and more can be added when needed. The guide, read the same month, lists the shorter terms from US$19.99 for 30 days with 1,000 credits up to US$99.99 for 365 days with 12,000 credits, with a 90-day term in between and a larger credit allowance at each step, and says none of them renews automatically. The premium page also has a "Buy more credits" block with three top-up packs, described as credits for chats, calls, photos and videos while the membership is active, and it tells a visitor without a membership to choose one first.
The lifetime plan is the offer that sets this brand apart from the monthly-billed companions, and its limit is written plainly in the guide: lifetime access does not mean unlimited credits, because photos, video and voice calls cost credits. The 24,000 included credits are a starting balance, not a monthly allowance. What the lifetime price buys is the membership itself, the right to keep adding credits, and the absence of any renewal.
How the free start works
The free step is narrow and worth reading precisely. Designing a companion can begin before an account exists, and the guide says an account is needed to generate the first three preview photos. After those photos, paid features need a membership: the home page says a membership opens chats, voice calls, photos and videos, and that the credits it includes never expire. Sign-up itself asks for an 18+ confirmation and links the terms and privacy policy before the account is created. The free step therefore works as a look at the product, not as a trial period, and nothing in it carries a card, a date or a charge that follows.
What happens after the first payment
There is no trial that converts into a larger charge, and the pages describe none. The terms say current purchases are one-time purchases unless checkout expressly says otherwise, and the premium page repeats the no-auto-renewal line. The terms say prices, included tokens, access period, currency and payment method are shown at checkout.
Two caveats belong next to the lifetime label. The pages do not define how long a lifetime lasts, whose lifetime is meant, or what happens if the service closes. The terms reserve the right to add, modify, limit, suspend or discontinue features, models, characters, prices, token costs and provider integrations, and state that the operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage or identical output. Feature costs in credits are displayed in the product and may change going forward, so a fixed credit balance can buy a different amount later. The terms also describe tokens as a limited, revocable license to use features, with no cash value outside mywifu, and they cap the operator's total liability at the greater of what the member paid in the three months before a claim or a small fixed dollar sum.
Each term in the ladder is a fixed access period with its own credit allowance, so a member who picks a shorter term is buying access for that stretch only; once it ends, the pages describe no automatic move to another term, which means the member decides whether to buy again. Voice calls are charged in started-minute increments at the rate confirmed before the call, which means a short call still consumes a full minute of credits.
Billing and payment methods
The terms name two payment routes: cryptocurrency and Telegram Stars. Both are fulfilled only after the relevant provider confirms the payment, and network fees, exchange-rate changes, underpayments and provider delays may affect completion. The pages do not list card payments, name a card processor, or give a billing descriptor for a statement. They say that price, currency and payment method are displayed at checkout. Everything is quoted in US dollars on the plan pages. The terms do not address sales tax.
Getting out and getting money back
Because purchases are one-time, there is no subscription to cancel and no renewal date to watch. The terms say a member may stop using the service at any time. The refund rule is strict: except where required by law or where the operator determines the service was not delivered, completed purchases and consumed tokens are non-refundable. The terms ask a member with a payment problem to contact support first, and they allow the operator to restrict or end access when a payment is fraudulent or reversed. Deleting an account and its data is done by emailing a request from the address linked to the account, and identity may be checked first; the guide says plainly that this is an email process, not a self-service button.
What the money buys and who the offer fits
The content side is fictional adult companions only. The guide claims 111 ready-made realistic and anime characters on the Discover page, and the creator offers realistic, anime and illustrated styles, with personality, relationship and voice choices. A membership opens chats, voice calls, photos and videos. The terms state that characters are generated by software and are not real people, and they prohibit an intimate likeness of a real person without that person's permission. The lifetime tab is what puts the brand in the lifetime-membership category, and the companion app itself is the girlfriend product.
The lifetime payment suits a reader who expects to keep using one companion app for a long time, wants a single upfront charge and does not want a rebill. The 30-day, 90-day and 365-day terms fit someone who wants a fixed credit block for a known period. It suits less well a heavy video or call user, since credits drain per action, or someone who wants a card checkout and a named processor, since the pages mention only crypto and Telegram Stars.
